gotta be Taskmaster. I do'nt know why, but i'm SO looking forward to it. Gonna be great :) I mean, i don't even know much bout the guy, but he's so freakin awesome. He's like the ultimte killing machine since he knows all of your moves before ya even do it ;)

Overall I'd have to say Ultimate X-Men. The book is just so consistently good that it's always a treat when the book comes out.

Of course, getting two issues of Exiles is pretty sweet, too.

Me too. X-FORCE and BLACK PANTHER would be close seconds, but NEW X-MEN is the book I'm currently looking forward to the most (along with TRANSMETROPOLITAN and PLANETARY, whenever that one feels like coming out).

Two issues of exiles! two! and someone dies! Too bad it's not Sunfire [she's in the previews for issue 12, but so is Morph, so at least he's not dying]. God I love Exiles. And Ultimate XMen is the Proteus saga, so that's exciting. I can't wait for Millar's vision of Proteus, or his Moira. But most of all,TWO issues of Exiles!

The thing im really looking forward from Marvel are the TWO Ultimate Spider-Man issues comming out Feb. Kraven and Doctor Octopus...can't get much better than that!
But I guess that doesn't count here.

So Ultimate X-Men is my next pick. I'm rather glad that the Weapon X arch is over but can't wait to see what's in store next for the X-Men.

New XMen looks pretty cool, but I think I'm most eager to see how the X-Corps arc in Uncanny goes. Morrison's writing is pretty conisistent so I"m not too worried that he'll stub his toes on NXM. Casey has been pretty spotty to me so far. His first arc just seemed contrived, especially Jean, one of the most experienced XMen just giving up and making out with Logan. After that, poptopia slugged along, and I stopped collecting consistently. However, Banshee and Jubilee were enough for me to restart with the silent issue.

Personally, I cannot wait for X-Treme X-Men #10. Considering how fantastic last issue was, and that we are going to receive yet another issue with Jean and Storm excites me to no end. Also, I'm curious as to how the Imperial and X-Corp plots will develop.

I'll tell you what I'd like to see--Origin #5 for goodness sake! It was supposed to come out two months ago, and yet Marvel is mysteriously quiet about its progress. I'd also like to see Origin #6 come out too. .:wolvie: And heck, while they're at it, maybe they could finally get on schedule for Ulimate X-Men.
Is this so much to ask? I just want Marvel to deliver on what was supposed to come out weeks ago.

Nowhere in the "Defenders' " membership does it say that you're favorite book be UXM, just that you recognize the quality of the book itself, not bash it by saying "Casey sucks" and the like. oh man, that was a tough choice.... it was down to Uncanny and Exiles, i couldn't decide so went with choice #3, Nightcrawler :p he was so neglected... and i mean, he got SHOT!! gah!

anyway, I am looking forward to

- Uncanny 402/Exiles tied. Uncanny because the X-Corps looks like it will totally rock, Exiles cause there's TWO and a death, (please oh please don't be Nocturne... we all know it wont be Blink, Morph or Sunfire... so it's gotta be Nocturne, T-Bird or Mimic (unlikely, but the opening to 9 with the captain america fight.. hmmm...)

- Nightcrawler because he is my favorite, and as mentioned, he was shot!

- New - Imperial sounds cool... but it doesn't have me quite as excited as the three above.

- Muties- very curious to see this...

Ultimate X-Men #15 - Millar and Kubert unite and start a new arc (almost), it has got me pumped - what more could you ask for?

Uncanny X-Men #402 - Casey's run on Uncanny has been absolutely incredible since #399 including the spectacular annual. The previews for #402 (especially the cover) have me drooling. X-Corps!

New X-Men #122 - The beginning of the Imperial arc can't come any sooner.

While I think Uncanny 402 looks really promising, I have to agree with LTX and pick Wolverine 173. With an ominous prophecy by Mauvais at the end of 172 and the promise of Lady Deathstrike and Omega Red, the first chapter of The Logan Files sounds too good to pass up.
