At Captain America's request he, along with his adopted son Ahura, aka Black Knight, travelled to New New York to defeat the Skull and his enslaved armies.
Years later he formed the Iron Men, a large army of robotic heroes once known as the Iron Avengers. Lead by his son they became the new heroes of Europe.
In an attempt to unite the Earth's superpowers, King Britain proposed to the widowed Queen of the Inhumans and Ahura's natural mother, Medusa.
