Chi is a member of the Japanese super-hero team Xen. Chi, like most of the Xen, believe the current ruler of Japan, the son of the original Sunfire, has no place among them.
Chi was among the Xen who safeguarded Creel's fists she tried to fight off the Tong of Creel without success.
She then travelled to Asgard with her teammates at the request of Lord Sunfire, upon returning she aided them in defeating the ghost of Fin Fang Foom.
