The original piece will also be auctioned off at the upcoming 2002 MegaCon in Orlando by the ACTOR charity organization, which benefits veteran comic creators in need.

Frank Q draws a pretty mean Colossus!
Now I really want to see the other part, just to see his renditions of Nightcrawler, Storm, and Banshee

Now we know where Quitley's rendition of Smasher came from. He's the long lost Summers brother! ;)

The image above is the two part image. The characters in the top row are one image, whilst the characters in the bottom row are the second image.

Let me see if I understand this correctly. Frank Quitely has just done a two piece cover for the ACE Edition of X Men #94, an issue which he had no hand in the first time around? I'm sorry, but that is just rediculous.

Come on man, get with the picture. You're ridiculous. Do I have to explain this? This is done many times. The inside art is the original of #94 but Quitely does a remake, you could say, of the cover. Recently, they have had Amazing Spider-Man #129, the first appearance of Punisher, and Incredible Hulk #181, the first appearance of Wolverine, made into an ACE Edition, and Sean Chen did the Hulk issue and I don't know who did the Spidey issue. Both these artists didn't work at all on the original. They both were just told to make a new cover for ACE Editions. There you go.
Also, I'm definitely going to buy this one.

This is one of the greatest pieces of X-Art I've ever seen. It can only be better in person. I disliked Frank's art on NXM #114, but my hope that he would settle in after the first issue came true. He is already on his way to ranking as one of the top X-artists I've seen.

Makes me really wish that the New X-men were still wearing their old uniforms rather than mall cloths they are in now.

Quitely does a pretty good Jon Proudstar too! Nice too the original Thunderbird drawn by a newer artist (and by the way, did Quitely draw the cover to the Road Trippin' tpb? It reminds me of his art a little bit)

All right. I will admit that the cover looks pretty good. By far it is the most impressive piece of work Quitely has done yet.
