WIZARD OFFERS WEAPON X #½ PROLOGUE

<a href="http://x-mencomics.com/xfan/images/previews/weaponx_logo.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://x-mencomics.com/xfan/images/previews/weaponx_logot.jpg" align=left alt="Weapon X logo"></a>According to the latest issue of Diamond Comics Distributor's Previews retailer catalog (Vol XII #2, on sale now), Wizard magazine will be offering an exclusive mail-away offer for a Weapon X #½ issue in their April issue, #128.

The #½ issue will act as a prologue to the ongoing Weapon X series (see "WEAPON X GOES MONTHLY WITH NEW SERIES (http://x-mencomics.com/xfan/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=81)"), and will reportedly feature "Sabretooth and crew sent out to assemble a new squad of field operatives".

The #½ issue will be written by the Weapon X team of writer Frank Tieri and artist Georges Jeanty.

Must say that I'm quite interested in this. I love Tieri's bad-@ss rendition of Creed, and the more I get of him, the happier I'll be. :D

this looks to be interesting. though because of financial constraints, i'll have to be content to wait and see the reviews first before actually buying the comic. :S

Well, great. Looks like it's time to buy my annual Wizard issue. Weapon X should be great, and I don't want to miss a thing.

I don't have to worry about getting Wizard #128, because I get an issue every single month. I will no doubt be looking forward to the 1/2, as I have already spoken with Frank personally regarding Weapon X. Don't worry. He didn't tell me anything that everyone else doesn't already know. I just wanted to tell him how excited I was that Weapon X was going to get its own ongoing series, that's all.

Again, I am looking forward to the 1/2.

No need to be getting jealous. I was just another fan excited about Weapon X, and wanted to let Frank know that. I hope to hear from him again soon, but one can only hope. ;)

As far the April Wizard, if memory serves me correctly, I believe they are released generally around the last Wednesday of the month. I just forget if the exact date in printed in Previews though. And that's gonna be my annual purchase of Wizard too; because I want the whole shebang on Weapon X :D

thanks for the heads up Wolvieschick but it's Wizard 128 that has this mail away offer. But you did answer the question of when Wizard usually arrives (the last wednesday of the month)...cheers for the clarification.
