The Guild taught Bella Donna everything she knows about physical combat, she was trained as an assassin. As part of the Boudreaux family she frequently came into combat with members of the rival LeBeau family.
Bella Donna eventually married one of the thieves Remy LeBeau, in an attempt to end the warfare between the two Clans. Peace was achieved between the two clans and the United Guilds of Thieves and Assassins was formed and Gambit became the leader.
Years later the Six came to New Orleans and crossed paths with the Guilds. One of their own members Julien, Bella's brother, betrayed the Guilds to S.H.I.E.L.D. Bella was killed by S.H.I.E.L.D. Espers and Raven, their daughter, was taken into S.H.I.E.L.D.'s custody.
Bella is a highly skilled fighter and acrobat. She has no mutant powers.
