Speaking with X-Fan on Sunday, Tischman said that he believes Kordey would continue as regular series artist, but did not know who his replacement would be.
Speaking to X-Fan on Monday morning, Cable editor Andrew Lis confirmed that Kordey will indeed be staying on, and will be joined by his former Dark Horse writing partner Darko Macan (Captain America: Dead Man Running).
"Darko's one of my favorite writers, and he was my first choice when it became clear that David was over-committed," Lis told X-Fan.
"He and Igor have worked together before, and Igor, as well as everyone at Marvel, is thrilled to have him on-board. In fact, I've already gotten the first script in, I'm halfway through it, and it's phenomenal."
Macan and Kordey worked on several Tarzan projects for Dark Horse before both moved to Marvel to take up separate assignments.
