First Appearance: Star Wars: Legacy #0 (June 2006 - cameo), Star Wars: Legacy #3 (September 2006 - fully)
Group Affiliation: Fel Empire, Imperial Knights
Former Group Affiliation: Galactic Empire
Sigel Dare is one of the Imperial Knights, and like them, she serves the deposed emperor Roan Fel. She also cares little for other Force-users such as the Jedi and the Sith. Her master among the knights was Treis Sinde and she helped provide escort for Emperor Fel when he retook the fortress world Bastion.
Weeks after Roan reclaimed Bastion, he sent Sigel and Treis to the Sith-controlled shipyards orbiting the water-covered planet of Dac. There, they infiltrated the prototype Star Destroyer Imperious and placed three sets of bombs within. They set them to go off when the ship’s weapons systems come online. While successful in planting the explosives, Sigel and Treis didn’t expect Gar Stazi’s Alliance fleet to attack the shipyards and steal the Imperious. Sigel wasn’t concerned with who got the sabotaged ship, but her master believed it to be best to warn Admiral Stazi as their emperor seeks to ally with his fleet. She accompanied Tries in an effort to warn the Alliance.
On one of Dac’s cities, Sigel and Treis saved Monia Gahan, a member of the Alliance’s Rogue Squadron, from Imperial Stormtroopers. The two knights told Monia what they had done and helped her rescue other Alliance personnel recently captured by the One Sith’s Empire. As Sigel and the others stole a shuttle to escape, her master stayed behind to hold off Darth Azard. Using the Force, Sigel telekinetically held up an explosive container for the shuttle to destroy, allowing the hangar’s destruction to cover their departure from Dac. While Sinde didn’t go with them, Sigel believed that he was still alive, and he would help the new Mon Calamari freedom fighters against the One Sith. Her assumption would be correct.
Sigel and Monia reached the Imperious and told Admiral Stazi of the bombs. Because of the Imperial Knights’ recent actions to help the Alliance, Stazi had Sigel contact Roan Fel so that the admiral and the former emperor could reopen talks of uniting their forces.
