Prior to his joining the Sith, this Nagai was a planetary warlord on the galaxy’s Outer Rim. Darth Krayt found him and recruited him into is order as Darth Nihl. He had the title of Krayt’s Fist, but then became Krayt's Hand when his predecessor died. Nihl was his Dark Lord’s enforcer both within and outside the Sith order. He would have Sith tattoos, but stood out from of the order with his chalk-white skin, while most others were red.
When the Sith-Imperial War was coming to a close, Darth Nihl led a coalition of Sith and Imperial forces in an assault on the Jedi Temple on Ossus. He fought and critically injured the Jedi Master Wolf Sazen when he cut off the Zabrak’s right arm and impaled him. Kol Skywalker was the last Jedi remaining when the others got away, and Nihl killed him with a barrage of Force Lightning. He would later be present when Darth Krayt assumed the title of Emperor for himself. Seven years later, Darth Nihl, with other Sith, aided Darth Talon on Vendaxa against some Jedi and Imperial Knights. He fought Kol Skywalker’s son Cade, who defeated him and escaped with the others. Nihl would voice his disapproval of Talon, since she was the other and newest of Krayt’s Hands and he felt he should be the only one.
Weeks have passed and Darth Nihl would meet Cade again, who broke into the Sith Temple to rescue Hosk Trey’lis. Nihl helped Talon captured Cade, but still resented her as Krayt would favor his new Hand. His fellow Sith Darth Maladi took notice of this and would talk to him in secret of their lord’s ailment and interest in Skywalker. Later, when Cade rebelled against Krayt’s plans for him, Nihl, along with his master and Darth Talon fought Skywalker. As Nihl dueled with Cade, he was defeated and lost his right arm. After Skywalker got away, Krayt was going to execute the Nagai Sith for the escape. However, Darth Wyyrlok talked Krayt into sparing his life, so instead he ordered to have Nihl’s lost arm replaced with a Yuuzhan Vong creation. The Dark Lord also had Darth Stryfe replace both Nihl and Talon as Krayt’s Hand while they went into recovery.
Eyes: Yellow
Hair: Black
Other Distinguishing Features: Chalk-white skin, pointed ears. Body covered in black Sith tattoos with neck, ears and lower half of face completely black. Organic replacement for right arm.
Powers and Abilities:
Taught to use the Dark Side of the Force, Darth Nihl is capable of such acts as creating lightning from his hands, and choking a person from a distance.
