Marvel Tails starring Peter Porker the Spectacular Spider-Ham #1

Spider-Ham swings through the city in search of action when he stumbles across the Gopher Gang robbing a jewellery store. He takes a few moments to set up his camera then swings down make short work of the thieves, but fails to notice a couple just around a corner preparing to shoot him. Luckily Captain Americat destroys the weapon with his well thrown shield, then knocks that remaining two unconscious.
Leaving the crooks for the police, Spider-Ham and Captain Americat change to their civilian identities of Peter Porker and Steve Mouser and go to the Daily Beagle for a meeting with J. Jonah Jackal. Jackal is in his usual grouchy mood and gives the two an assignment. The Video City arcade has recently been the target of sabotage by the mysterious Masked Marauder. The pair is sent to investigate.
Peter and Steve take a cab to the arcade located beside the old Platypus Amusement Park where Peter used to go as a child. He briefly stops to talk to Quincy Quackers, the owner of the amusement park who is struggling to keep the park going. Most kids prefer to go to the arcade these days.
The arcade is surrounded by P.A.W.S. (Parents Against Whimsy Society) picketers lead by Alice Groundy. They feel that video games are corrupting young minds. Steve talks briefly with Randolph Rodent who Bartholomew Bark, owner of Video City, suspects of funding P.A.W.S.
Bartholomew is happy to have the reporters visit and pushes past the picketers with Peter, Steve, Randolph and Alice in tow. He has his chief electrical engineer Bruce Bunny shows the group around so that he can see to his business. Bruce shows the quartet around, but Randolph and Alice suddenly go missing. Bruce must leave Peter and Steve to continue his work on a new video game, but while working inside the cabinet the Masked Marauder kicks the panel closed trapping him inside. The Marauder then turns the video game on hoping to put an end to Dr. Bunny, but the radiation instead changes his atomic structure giving birth to the Hulk-Bunny
Peter and Steve hear the explosion and change to Spider-Man and Captain Americat. They split up to investigate, but the Hulk-Bunny finds Spider-Ham first. Hulk-Bunny brings down a wall of heavy equipment trapping Spider-Ham underneath it.
Elsewhere, the Masked Marauder is continuing to destroy video games when he is discovered by Captain Americat. The Marauder manages to escape by releasing a cloud of gas. Captain Americat then stumbles across Hulk-Bunny and must battle the large, green monster.
With all the strength he can muster, Spider-Ham manages to lift the machinery, but the floor cannot handle the weight and he falls through to where Captain Americat and Hulk-Bunny are battling. Hulk-Bunny uses the distraction to escape through a wall.
The battle continues at the amusement park, Spider-Man pairing up against Hulk-Bunny, with Captain Americat against the Masked Marauder. Spider-Man eventually traps Hulk-Bunny on a Merry-Go-Round and joins Captain Americat with the captured Masked Marauder. The Masked Marauder is unmasked to reveal Quincy Quackers.
Spider-Ham and Captain Americat race back to the Daily Beagle to submit their story as a confused Bruce Bunny wonders if he can ever know peace again.

Back-Up Story Title: Goose Rider

As the sun sets, an ordinary goose is transformed into Goose Rider. There is not much to do in this small town, so he decides to go to see a movie.
While in the theatre he hears the loud 'honk' of his Goosercycle alarm and has to rush out. Kids are cooking hotdogs and marshmallows over the flames of his bike and he must chase them off.
He then decides to go bowling instead, but is tripped up by a rather small, unsuspecting character named Chainsaw who challenges Goose Rider. The Demons of Heck are summoned making short work of Chainsaw.
Goose Rider has changed his mind and decides to go get a burger, but fails to notice that the bridge is out. He falls into the river, which quenches his flaming skull and bike.
