In a trailer park in Jersey, Jazinda is helping She-Hulk in finding Bran, the man that blew up a bar around She-Hulk, by creating a 3-D picture of him with her computer that responds to her thoughts. Jazinda makes a notice of She-Hulk being in her human form and asks if she is the same person in both forms. Jennifer gets pissed off and turns into She-Hulk. Jazinda finds Bran in the FBI data base and gets his last known address in Cleveland.

In Allentown National Park, Pennsylvania, Tanya and Larry are camping and trying to reconnect. She-Hulk and Jazinda are driving nearby, on their way to Cleveland, when a small spaceship lands on top of their RV. She-Hulk hits the ship off but it returns to push She-Hulk from the car's roof. She-Hulk is unhurt and cracks the ship open. Inside they find an alien begging for help, but She-Hulk is not interested. Jazinda thinks that they should help him and recognizes him as a Froma, race with heavy gamma radiation on their planet Chize. Cazon, of the Tangers, the premiere cartel of Chize wanted to get to one of the Froma colonies but his sensory apparatus guided him to She-Hulk instead. Cazon tells that he is being accused of mass murder and that he will be executed if bounty hunters take him back home. Jazinda wants to help him, but She-Hulk tells her that she’s done with super-heroing and that their partnership is over if Jazinda stays to help Cazon. Tanya and Larry encounter a member of the extraterrestrial Badoon race in the woods and decide to leave home.

She-Hulk and Jazinda have done business together for three months and She-Hulk wonders when Jazinda became so altruistic. While the women have a quarrel, the Badoon attacks Cazon. Jazinda shoots the Badoon with her gun of alien origin, but it does not even stun the Badoon. She-Hulk takes on the big alien while Jazinda escapes with Cazon. They run into Tanya and Larry, who Cazon decides to use as hostages. Larry demands Cazon not to use his wife as a hostage, so Cazon kills her before shooting Jazinda, mentioning that he never claimed to be innocent of mass murder and taking Larry with him as a hostage.

First Appearance: The Behemoth (formerly Man-Elephant)

Manfred Ellsworth Haller, the Man-Elephant, has fled to Timbuktu in Africa since Tony Stark found out that he was supplying unlicensed heroes with battle armors and got his assets frozen. A woman with two children runs to him, begging for help. The revolutionary Tuareg rebels are coming and apparently a wise woman had told her that the Man-Elephant would help. The woman guides the Man-Elephant to the wise woman’s temple.

Haller sees that the old woman is from India and that she is painting a picture of him and She-Hulk fighting. The Man-Elephant realizes that the woman is blind, but she tells that she has true sight instead. The woman tells that Shri Ganesha, the god of new beginnings, can provide Haller what he really wants. On Ganesha's portrait, Haller notices a gem that apparently is a mere shard of a powerful object. It fell to Earth, blinding the woman physically and whispering the name of Seetorak to her. Haller touches the gem and is transformed into the Behemoth by his new god. The Behemoth goes to help the woman whose child the rebels are trying to steal, while vowing a revenge upon Tony Stark and the She-Hulk.

She-Hulk and Jazinda are still after Bran, who blew up a bar around She-Hulk in New York. She-Hulk grills Jazinda about her resurrective powers when they are about to stop at a gas station. They're only two hours away from Cleveland, Bran's supposed location. Jennifer is pumping the gas, but Jazinda yells her to come inside instantly. They learn from the television news that Larry Ryan, the man they just recently saved from Cazon of the Froma, has been arrested and is being charged with the murder of his wife. Jennifer blames herself for not staying behind long enough to clear things up with the police. At that moment, two armed men plunge in, aiming to rob the place, but She-Hulk teaches them a lesson the hard way.

The two bounty hunters go back to Allentown, Pennsylvania, which she keeps pronouncing Al-len-town like in the musical "42nd Street". She-Hulk goes to see Larry at his cell. The police didn't believe Larry, who was arrested in front of his children. He blames She-Hulk and all super-heroes for attracting destruction around them, aggravating She-Hulk so much that she accidentally breaks the cell door. The police troops rush in and She-Hulk ends up inside the cell with Larry, promising to stay there in her human form. After a while, Jazinda comes there, disguised as a police captain, bringing a cell phone and forcing Jennifer to make a certain call to help Larry.

Both Larry and She-Hulk go to court the following morning. She-Hulk is making restitution for the door she broke and the judge is afraid that keeping her confined would only attract Doctor Doom or Bong or whatever, so she is let go. She-Hulk wants to be heard in Larry's arraignment but it doesn’t involve testimony. The judge makes a notice that she should know this and reminds her that she was disbarred, but lets her sit silently in the back of the court. Larry's overworked and young public defender, Paul Dominic, isn't doing a good job. Marcia Coopersmith, the prosecutor, is doing much better.

Suddenly, lawyer Mallory Book from Goodman, Lieber, Kurtzberg and Book arrives with two assistants, because She-Hulk asked her to, positively surprising She-Hulk and submitting that the case should be dismissed with prejudice. Mallory claims that the Fromas pose a risk to national security and Ryan should be released, so that he can be debriefed. This would be classified information. Book has contacted an expert, Iron Man, who just happens to arrive at the court. Iron Man is the only previous human who has faced Fromas, and sees Larry a hero and his knowledge valuable. The astonished judge dismisses the case with prejudice, so that it can never be refiled.

Iron Man is giving autographs. She-Hulk is still furious at him because of their recent past, but Iron Man apologizes her with a note. Mallory's assistants will take Larry home, where S.H.I.E.L.D. agents will meet him later for debriefing. Mallory is still angry at She-Hulk for almost destroying GLK&B. In the evening in her RV, She-Hulk ponders how friends seem to betray her and people who can't stand her come to help her. Jazinda blurts that she cannot die. She betrayed all the Skrulls in acquiring the ability and people are after her, trying to take the ability from her and kill her permanently. They then head again to Cleveland, with Jazinda driving. She-Hulk throws Iron Man's note out, but makes Jazinda stop the car so that she can go get it back.

First Appearance: Monique, Arthur Moore, Erin Murphy, Mrs. Murphy

She-Hulk is in jail again, this time arrested by Cleveland Police Department. She is mentally exhausted and her cellmate wants to know what's Juggernaut like in bed.

24 hours previously, She-Hulk and Jazinda finally reached Cleveland in their hunt for Bran, who had blown up a bar around She-Hulk in Manhattan. She-Hulk was wondering if she can love anyone anymore. She talked about sexual double standards with Jazinda, whose wild revelations then silenced She-Hulk. They went to Bran Murphy's house as Jennifer Walters and Jaz, both in human forms. Bran's young daughter Erin revealed that Bran was bodyguarding someone at a football game before Bran's wife slammed the door.

The bounty hunters went to Cleveland Browns Stadium, where the security personnel remembered Bran and the area where he was seated. The security staff helped Jennifer and Jaz by letting them pose as beer and hot dog vendors. Jazinda came across Bran and his employer, who wanted to buy hot dogs. Unfortunately, Bran noticed Jazinda's weapon and pulled out his own gun. She-Hulk ran at them from behind and was unpleasantly surprised that Bran's employer was someone she knew, a man named Moore. It turned out that Bran has super-strength, when he threw She-Hulk halfway the football field. Jazinda shot Bran, who wasn't hurt at all and shot Jazinda dead in return. Bran and Moore tried to get out, but were again confronted by the resurrected Jazinda and She-Hulk. Bran claimed that he had never been to New York before She-Hulk defeated him. In the end it was She-Hulk who was arrested when the police arrived, because Moore had a restraining order against her and provided Bran an alibi. Also, She-Hulk did not have a warrant or any proofs. Moore even thought that She-Hulk, who was disbarred because of him, might have been behind the death threats that had made him hire Bran Murphy as his bodyguard. Afterwards Bran was talking to himself, wanting his life back from someone.

She-Hulk tells her recent misfortunes to her cellmate, who turns out to have had even harder time and ended up in jail after hospitalizing a person that tried selling drugs to her seven-year old daughter. She-Hulk then tells her that Juggernaut is gay.

First Appearance: Dark Art (Arthur Moore)
Death: Dark Art

Arthur Moore and Bran Murphy are at Moore's mansion in Cleveland, Ohio. Moore offers Bran vintage wine because he won't be needing a bodyguard anymore. Moore believes that it was She-Hulk that sent him death threats and that she won't dare to do anything after being caught.

In Cleveland City Jail, She-Hulk starts telling her cellmate Monique about how she was disbarred. Months ago, at the law offices of GLK&B, Mallory Book assigned Jennifer to Arthur Moore's case. Mallory also wanted to be Jennifer's friend, because her therapist had challenged her to befriend another strong woman. Mallory even mentioned about possible partnership at the firm someday, because she respected the only person who had made her lost a case. Mallory's therapist incidentally happened to be Leo Samson, father of Jennifer's therapist Leonard Samson. Apparently, Leo and Leonard have issues.

Later that day, Jennifer met Arthur Moore, a.k.a. Dark Art, a mystic charged of robbery and animal cruelty. Dark Art's talismans had been taken in police custody until he could be found not guilty. Moore irritated Jennifer, but a week later she was able to get all the evidence excluded, because Officer Petrelli's original search had not been legal. The case was dismissed and Dark Art's talismans were returned to him soon after the trial. Jennifer was being honest about wanting to part company as quickly as possible, so Moore showed Jen and Mallory "true honesty", still protected by attorney/client privilege. Using a talisman, Dark Art showed images of him kidnapping children and turning them into dogs before killing them. Jennifer snapped, becoming She-Hulk after a long while, defeating Dark Art and breaking his magic wand. She then yelled the press what she had seen, telling that Moore deserved the death penalty and that she would happily administer the lethal injections herself.

In 24 hours, Jennifer was fired. Moore had sued GLK&B for malpractice, to which the firm had no defense, and gotten a restraining order against She-Hulk. Jennifer also lost her rights to work as an attorney of law. Mallory was very disappointed, telling that the less the bad guys play by the rules, the more they have to. Jennifer didn't give many explanations, but she did this because she just needed to strike back at someone after all the pain caused by recent betrayals and deaths. Unfortunately, Moore had been lying and the suitably amnesiac kids were found a week later.

She-Hulk is now thinking that she might have been trying to punish herself for trusting the wrong people, whose actions led to the death of Captain America, for example. Moore believes so as well and so did his employers, whom Moore has never met himself but who paid Moore to scheme against She-Hulk. Moore finds people's gullibility almost charming but has himself been drinking poisoned wine. Moore dies as Bran throws his untouched drink away.

So, did the Man-Elephant look anything like the late Mammomax? Is he related to Gabrielle Haller?

Well, as the Behemoth he does resemble Mammomax a bit more than as the Man-Elephant, but they should be quite easy to tell from each other. I don't think he has any relation to Gaby. The plot might be followed somewhere and it's kinda interesting to see where.
