Known Allies: Wolfpack, Gambit (formerly)
Major Enemies: Gambit, Rogue, X-Men
Andreas Von Strucker, together with his partner Andrea Von Strucker, is head of a global investment company called Fenris International. They named their company after the Norse god Fenris, who brought about the twilight of the gods. As Fenris, they want to achieve equality between homo superior and the rest of mankind through economic empowerment. To stay on top of business, the two use mutants as agents for industrial espionage. The money, that these agents steal from the other companies, is funnelled into the homo superior community.
One of their agents was the mutant called Gambit. Before he encountered the Von Struckers, he had no control over his powers. Through a patented bioengineering process, an experimental polymer was grafted to his subdermal vascular network, which enabled Gambit to mentally control his powers. After they got rid off Gambit's dialect, Gambit was ready.
Gambit abducted the X-Man Rogue and took her to Fenris' head office in the Empire State Building. The Von Struckers made Rogue the same deal as they did to Gambit. Rogue did not believe them, so they let her wear a costume that used a power dampening material. During a testing with Gambit, Rogue was able to touch someone without any consequences for the very first time. Although Rogue refused their offer, the Von Struckers did not give up that easily; they forced her to join them. When Rogue had put on their costume, she was unaware that she was accepting a priori agreement. Gambit intervened and reminded them that they told him that Rogue would be given the chance to join them freely. When the Von Struckers told him to stay out of this, Gambit chose Rogue's side, which automatically implied his resignation. After Andreas and Andrea joined hands and hit Gambit with their powers, they gave Rogue another choice to follow their instructions. Although the Von Struckers had control over her and her costume up until then, things changed when the injured Gambit was able to compromise Rogue's suit by hitting it with a charged card. Now that Rogue had her powers back, she touched the Von Struckers stealing their powers. On their way out, Gambit and Rogue had to deal with Wolfpack, the company's security guard.
Although Andrea was willing to write the two off as an investment that went bad, Andreas was not so willing to let them go. The matter with Rogue became personal from the moment that Rogue laid her hands on him, which up until then was a privilege reserved only for Andrea. Before he could go after Rogue and Gambit, the X-Men arrived. Colossus took them by surprise by crashing in through the window, he grabbed the two and separated them, rendering them powerless. Unfortunately the X-Men had to let them go as they knew that their company's lawyers would have them out before they knew it.
