The pro-marine life protesting outside the Sandy Eggo Comic-Con does not stop the thousands of fans from showing up to the annual event. Inside, Rodney Rabbit and the rest of the DC Comics panel, answer fan questions while elsewhere in the venue the remaining members of the Zoo Crew promote their new line of action figures.
The event is suddenly crashed by the Salamandriod who begins to increase his temperature to a scorching level. The Zoo Crew is unable to contain the villain until Captain Carrot punches him through a wall and he escapes into the ocean.
Back in his office, Rodney despondantly reviews the teams recent history: how Alley-Kat-Abra had gone bad an murdered Little Cheese, how President Mallard Fillmore was forced to resign from office allowing Vice-President Beneduck Arnold to claim power and enact the anti-super hero agenda, and how the team was eventually evicted from the Z-Building. Without their super hero lives to follow, they were forced to revert to their original careers.
Rodney’s team surprises him by stopping in to cheer him up. They watch a news report about a young fish named Goldie who had been poisoned by toxic waste in her own home. They change the channel and briefly watch Ppresident Arnold meeting with the environmental activist Vicuña Pacos to discuss a treaty between land and sea animals, but the transmission is interrupted by the Salamandroid who threatens to ensure the peace treaty never happens. The team flies to Gnu York to deal with the threat and while they wait the see the sites of the big city. Unfortunately while walking along the beach, Pig Iron and Fastback are surprised when Frogzilla steps out of the water onto the beach.

With the menace of Frogzilla back, Fastback races to the office of Rodney Rabbit to relay the news. Elsewhere, Red Herring introduces Vicuña Pacos to the unseen ambassador of the sea who casts a large star-shaped shadow on the floor.
Back on the beach, the Zoo Crew attempts to deal with the menace of Frogzilla who has swallowed Pig Iron. Working as a team they eventually manage to pin the monster to the ground until it sees the Statue of Ribbity. Smitten by the giant lady he takes it to a movie but is reminded of his mission by the Salamandroid on the Jumboshrimpotron in Slimes Square. Strange giant green glowing flies appear hovering around a Hot Dog cart and the great creature swallows them and the cart whole but the filthy franks cause him to throw-up, expelling Pig Iron through the roof of a nearby building. From the broken roof flies Alley-Kat-Abra who turns Frogzilla back into J. Fennimore Frog.
She explains how she had been duped by Felix Faust who had created “Dark Alley”, an evil version of her and trapped her in the Neither World. It was her doppelganger who was responsible for the murder of Little Cheese and now she vows not to rest until she manages to bring Little Cheese back from the dead. They agree to allow her to rejoin the team on a probationary status. Yankee Poodle manages to track the Jumboshrimpotron transmission to an ocean lair but are attacked by starfish that attach themselves to their faces.
High on Mount Beaverest, Vicuña Pacos is revealed to actually be Rash Al Paca in disguise. He explains to use a specialized satellite to melt the ice caps flooding the entire planet leaving his home on the highest peak the only ground left on Earth.
Inexplicably returned to their penthouse, the Zoo Crew learn of the satellite in orbit that is melting the ice caps and jump from the penthouse to action, discovering the hard way that they have lost their powers as they fall to certain death.

Pig Iron had luckily not joined his team mates in their expedition into the sea and through quick thinking manages to catch his teammates in an open-top garbage truck. President Arnold calls on the heroes to help deal with the global warming problem and the Zoo Crew answers the call although they have recently lost their powers. They are completely unaware that their conversation in the White House is being watched by a bug hidden Red Herring’s helmet. The Salamandroid and Starro listen carefully to the conversation from their underground lair. They are not worried about the heroes since their powers have been blocked through the hypnotic suggestion of the starfish that had been attached to their faces.
Back at their Headquarters, Rodney comes up with a plan to deal with the threat. In violation of copywrite, he quickly draws and sells a new Just’a Lotta Animals comic book. When they are contacted by an interdimensional lawyer, rodney has he ask the Just'a Lotta Animals for help.
Having not yet received help by the next morning, the Zoo Crew begins rescue efforts. With the use of a an ocean liner borrowed from Barton Boa, they load everyone possible on board. The Just’a Lotta Animals then arrives and the plan to transport the vistims from Earth-C to Earth-C-Minus. Suddenly Starro pulls himself over the rail and commands whales to strike the ocean floor causing a tidal wave thretening the city. Pig Iron sacrifices himself by throwing himself at Starro knocking them both overboard allowing the ship to escape.
Without the necessary powers of Fastback, the ship falls short and materializes in open space. The side of the ship is struck by the New Dogs emerging from a Kaboom tube. They begin a dispute with the Just'a Lotta Animals forgetting to close the Kaboom tube, and the ship is sucked in.
Suddenly the ship plummeting towards another Earth. It is saved at the last moment by Zatanna and Hawkgirl. Red Arrow discovers various animals emerging from the broken hull of the ship and loads of discarded clothing including a familiar yellow jumpsuit with a large C on the front. All the anthromorphic, including the memebers of the Zoo Crew, have been transformed into regular Earth animals. Zatanna collects a small brown and white for her own.
