After performing in a club, Alison Blaire aka the Dazzler bumps into a guy on the run from...Angel?? Dazzler soon finds out he’s not alone, and can’t stop these Shadow X-men from killing Roger MacEwan, and Dazzler herself!
Meanwhile, Captain Britain meets with his sister Psylocke, who brought some X-friends, at the ruins of the old Excalibur lighthouse base. Peter Wisdom soon disturbs the catching up informing them Dazzler has been murdered, and asks them for help in solving the case.
On the scene, Rachel suddenly picks up brain activity, and they bring Alison to a hospital fast as they can. The Shadow X-men also know Dazzler survived the attack and where she is thanks to their telepathic leader; Shadow Xavier!

Wisdom wants to start a new Excalibur group, but only Nocturne and Juggernaut are interested. But first Cain has to face trail for the damage he’s caused in London, and that doesn’t look good.

Juggernaut stands trail for property damage he caused while he was in London. She-Hulk defends him, but when the trail never finishes because Peter Wisdom has a letter for the judge; MI-13, the department of Her Britannic Majesty’s Intelligence Service, has arranged that the charges against Juggernaut have been vacated and thus Cain is free to go.
Meanwhile, Sage is keeping tabs on what’s going on in the mutant world. She’s listening to a message from Bean among things when she is interupted by Wisdom who is offering her a place in his new to-be-formed British hero team.
Captain Britain, who is at the old Excalibur Lighthouse, is visited by Courtney Ross.
The next day they have lunch. Courtney’s credit cards and mobile have all been withdrawn, and when they walk outside, Captain Britain is attacked by Kelsey Leigh aka Lionheart.
The Warwolves, and old enemy from the first Excalibur team, have broken free from their prison in Regent’s Park Zoo and taken the forms of humans to ambush an MI-13 agent, Rana Mousabi. The Warwolves split up; four attack Juggernaut, Dazzler and Nocturne. The Rana Warwolf attacks Sage in her house.

Sage knows how to beat the Warwolf trying to take her skin, and the Rana Mousabi Warwolf is taken by surprise by Peter Wisdom. They flee Sage’s house, positive they will fulfill the contract another day.
Dazzler, Nocturne and Juggernaut don’t have much difficulty defeating the four Warwolves who attacked them
Captain Britain, worried about Courtney’s safety, has less luck against Lionheart. Lionheart tosses a big propane tank towards Courtney’s car as she tries to get away. Captain Britain manages to shield Courtney from the explosion. Lionheart believes Captain Britain killed, and suddenly changes character completely, worried that she is a murderer.
When the dust settles Captain Britain is revealed to still be alive though, and eager to finish the fight. Just as he lashes out to punch Lionheart, his fist is stopped by Albion, who continues the fight with Cap that Lionheart started. Lionheart herself is suddely back to her previous character, and willing to kill Courtney just for being the former love of Captain Britain.
She can’t do it though, and Albion notes that the nobility of her soul is the reason.
The others rush to Captain Britain’s aid, but can’t stop Albion and Lionheart from making their escape.
Captain Britain realizes the need for a group of superheroes, and asks for Juggernaut, Dazzler, Nocturne, Sage and Peter Wisdom to join his team.
He succeeds where Peter Wisdom did not; New Excalibur is born!

The Scarlet Knights were a family of superheroes who were specialized at search and resque, who could all fly and attended the Farnborough Air Show each year. There they picked up some of the audience to fly with them, when the M-day flash hit them. All except son Colin Hardy lost their powers, resulting in a terrible tragedy.
Colin Hardy commits suicide, blowing himself up, and taking a big part of Shepherd’s Cross Railway Station with him.
At the same time the New Excalibur team is moving into their new headquarters, property of MI-13, The Lake House at the Empress Matilda Docks, Rotherhithe, London.
The team is quickly summoned to help out at the emergency scene.
Later, Peter Wisdom takes Captain Britain and Dazzler from the emergency site to help Sage with the relocation of the Shadow X-men from their current Wormwood Scrubs prison to Crossmore prison.
Juggernaut hears a cry for help, and he and Nocturne find Sammy Paré in a tunnel. Even though they know Sammy is dead, they go in the tunnel. Sammy is not real, and suddenly the tunnel caves in.
Just when they are ready to roll, the prison transport is attacked by mechanical plants.
At the same time Sage is attacked by Shadow Xavier. The prison ward is none other then Black Tom Cassidy in disquise. He takes out Wisdom, and kills Dazzler!

Juggernaut and Nocturne have survived the cave in of the tunnel, but once they are above ground, are attacked by mechanical plants. Juggernaut, possesed by Nocturne, easily defeats them.
Captain Britain is having less luck at the Wormwood Scrubs prison against the mechanical plants. He is struck against the in the meantime airborne prison transport holding the Shadow X-men on board, causing it to crash to the ground. Scicluna has joined Black Tom, but are surprisingly attacked by the back-from-the-dead-again Dazzler!
Wisdom is joining Captain Britain in the fight against the mechanical plants.
Shadow Xavier, who managed to invade Sage’s mind, even though he is still imprisoned in his cell, tries to make her his new pet slave. He takes her back where he thinks she will be more pliable; to the moment she first met Charles Xavier. His tactic fails, and the young Sage shoots Shadow Xavier through the head, resulting in taking him out in the physical world.
In the meantime Juggernaut and Nocturne arrive on the scene, and Juggernaut drops out of the passing ship, landing in the mechanical plants.
Scicluna and Black Air manage the escape with five Shadow X-men, leaving behind Shadow Xavier and Black Tom. Black Tom tries to escape but Cain follows him.
He finds Black Tom in a house, holding a woman hostage. Cain talks to his former partner in crime, and finally manages to make Tom turn himself in.

The team, plus a visiting Psylocke, are watching the Dazzler perform in a club, when they are suddenly called by Wisdom who tells that Shadow Xavier wants to speak with Betsy.
They rush to Crossmore prison where they are briefed by Sage.
Psylocke enters the room with Shadow Xavier, who reveals himself to her being none other then the Shadow King! The others, already possesed by the Shadow King/Shadow Xavier when they entered the prison with the exception of Sage and Captain Britain, make their move against their two teammates. Sage is taken out quickly, leaving Captain Britain alone to stand against his possesed friends.
The Shadow King explains to Betsy how he escaped from her mind and how he came to take over this alternate Charles Xavier; when Vargas ‘killed’ Psylocke and she was pulled by the strings of reality itself, he managed to escape to another universe. He returned to this reality through the cracks formed by the wave the Scarlet Witch made when she ended the House of M reality.
Now he wants for Psylocke to suffer for imprisoning him, but Psylocke sees through his bluff. She knows he can’t hurt her, and attacks the Shadow King with her telekinetic powers resulting in the release he had on her friends.
She makes the final killing strike, stabbing Shadow Xavier with her telekinetic katana through his head. Then Psylocke is suddenly teleported away.

First Appearance: Chamber's new body
We see how M-day effected Jonothan Starsmore aka Chamber; his chest and lower jaw blown away by powers he doesn’t have anymore. He’s only still alive thanks to numorous medical apparatus. ‘Doctor Hartley’ (alias Frederick Slade) has been taking sessions with Jono for weeks now, and just as he is about to explain Jono has options, the ‘doctor’ is interrupted by Peter Wisdom who wants Jono to rejoin the family with the New Excalibur team once he’s fixed up. Slade asks where that family was the last few weeks, since he hadn’t seen one visit Jono. Wisdom wants the ‘doctor’ out when he returns from his smoke. When he returns, he and Jono are gone.
When Jono awakes, his body is whole again. ‘Hartley’ introduces him to the Clan Akkaba, all descendents from Apocalypse, just like Jono. They used Apocalypses blood to make his body whole again. His skin is now grey, his eyes red and he has the same lips as Apocalypse.
Jono thanks them for patching him up, but not for his new looks. As he heads for the exit, Apocalypse makes his presence known. Jono is ready to fight, even without his powers, but Apocalypse says he is free to go.
As he exits the building, New Excalibur arrives. They want to bust some heads, but jono stops them, saying it’s his business, not theirs. He just wants to be left alone.
Inside the house Apocalypse is revealed to have been Ozymandias in disquise. Slade asks when the Clan will finally meet the real Apocalypse to show him how much they have changed since their last encounter over a century ago. Ozymandias promises soon, and they’ll have Chamber to thank for it.
Wisdom and MI-13 later return to the house, but it is already abandoned.
They do find out that Jono does have powers, omega-class even.

We start in the past and see how King Arthur dies in the arms of the original Black Knight, Sir Percy of Scandia. Sir Percy spots fabled Excalibur among the rubble and picks it up. After a fight in a tavern, leaving only Percy alive, he suddenly hears a voice inside his head speaking to him. The voice is that of the Lady of the Lake.
The present Black Knight, Dane Whitman, is in Garret Castle, which has been turned into a Black Knight museum. Dane is on the phone with Captain Britain, who is at the same time capturing soem bankrobbers. Brian wants to make Dane an offer of joining New Excalibur.
When Percy arrives at the lake, the Lady of the Lake says he is England’s only hope in stopping the threat and restoring Camelot and everything that was. Before Percy can ask what she means, he is pulled into the lake by the Lady of the Lake.
At the same time in the present, Percy is suddenly in the body of Dane Whitman. He soon finds on his back the Ebony Blade of this current Black Knight. He smashes the glass in where Percy’s deceased body lies, and takes out a scroll. In the meantime Captain Britain and the rest of the Excalibur team has arrived, and not knowing Dane is now possesed by Percy, he aproaches him from behind wanting to ask what is going on. Dane/Percy lashes out in instinct with the Ebony Blade, cutting Brian. Percy recognizes them but before he can rectify his mistake, the team attacks. His reflexes are still spot on, but a tap on the head by Juggernaut puts him in dreamland. Sage picks up the scroll Percy was holding and looks at it with shock; a drawing of this Excalibur team in Percy’s past!

Percy, still in the body of Dane Whitman, has taken the Excalibur team to the lake in where they will be taken to the past. When they all go in, they emerge in the past before the fall of Camelot. Dane is in control again of his own body. They are welcomed by Percy, also in his own body. Percy learns from the Lady in the Lake that he is in the past before the assasination of Merlin. He rushes to find Merlin battling three huge dragons. They quickly rush to his aid, and together they can chase the dragons away.
Percy tells the story so far to King Arthur, and the team is welcomed by a great feast that night. King Arthur has sent scouts to find the lair of the dragons, but during the feast Merlin is struck with a vision; One scout has found the lair, but is in no condition to tell where it is.

Dane is having a conversation with Merlin, that he doesn’t trust Percy, and that he fears the Ebony Blade has taken control of him. Merlin says he should talk to Percy himself. The two Black Knights start fighing each other. Suddenly Percy shoves the Ebony Blade in Dane’s hand. The Blade is more powerfull now then Dane could have guessed. Percy tell’s another secret; he was not the first Black Knight. Eight men held the blade before him. Each one had to be put down.
Meanwhile, Sage and Wisdom have gone to find the dragons lair hoping to find something of value. They find the lair but also a shocking discovery; hundreds of dragons, dead.
In the meantime Camelot is attacked by the dragons. The knights and Excalibur fight valiantly, but the dragons are powerfull and legion.
When Sage and Wisdom return, Sage asks Merlin to conjure up some formosan herb. Merlin is willing to try anything, and it works. All dragons fall from the sky, sleeping. Sage explains that in the cave they found a spaceship, and that the dragon-like aliens are Makluans. Fin Fang Foom is also part of this race and as he was put to sleep with the herb, so were these others.
Camelot is saved from being destroyed before it’s time, and Excalibur returns to the present through the lake in which they came.

After performing in a club, Alison Blaire aka the Dazzler bumps into a guy on the run from...Angel?? Dazzler soon finds out he’s not alone, and can’t stop these Shadow X-men from killing Roger MacEwan, and Dazzler herself!
Meanwhile, Captain Britain meets with his sister Psylocke, who brought some X-friends, at the ruins of the old Excalibur lighthouse base. Peter Wisdom soon disturbs the catching up informing them Dazzler has been murdered, and asks them for help in solving the case.
On the scene, Rachel suddenly picks up brain activity, and they bring Alison to a hospital fast as they can. The Shadow X-men also know Dazzler survived the attack and where she is thanks to their telepathic leader; Shadow Xavier!

Juggernaut stands trail for property damage he caused while he was in London. She-Hulk defends him, but when the trail never finishes because Peter Wisdom has a letter for the judge; MI-13, the department of Her Britannic Majesty’s Intelligence Service, has arranged that the charges against Juggernaut have been vacated and thus Cain is free to go.
Meanwhile, Sage is keeping tabs on what’s going on in the mutant world. She’s listening to a message from Bean among things when she is interupted by Wisdom who is offering her a place in his new to-be-formed British hero team.
Captain Britain, who is at the old Excalibur Lighthouse, is visited by Courtney Ross.
The next day they have lunch. Courtney’s credit cards and mobile have all been withdrawn, and when they walk outside, Captain Britain is attacked by Kelsey Leigh aka Lionheart.
The Warwolves, and old enemy from the first Excalibur team, have broken free from their prison in Regent’s Park Zoo and taken the forms of humans to ambush an MI-13 agent, Rana Mousabi. The Warwolves split up; four attack Juggernaut, Dazzler and Nocturne. The Rana Warwolf attacks Sage in her house.

Sage knows how to beat the Warwolf trying to take her skin, and the Rana Mousabi Warwolf is taken by surprise by Peter Wisdom. They flee Sage’s house, positive they will fulfill the contract another day.
Dazzler, Nocturne and Juggernaut don’t have much difficulty defeating the four Warwolves who attacked them
Captain Britain, worried about Courtney’s safety, has less luck against Lionheart. Lionheart tosses a big propane tank towards Courtney’s car as she tries to get away. Captain Britain manages to shield Courtney from the explosion. Lionheart believes Captain Britain killed, and suddenly changes character completely, worried that she is a murderer.
When the dust settles Captain Britain is revealed to still be alive though, and eager to finish the fight. Just as he lashes out to punch Lionheart, his fist is stopped by Albion, who continues the fight with Cap that Lionheart started. Lionheart herself is suddely back to her previous character, and willing to kill Courtney just for being the former love of Captain Britain.
She can’t do it though, and Albion notes that the nobility of her soul is the reason.
The others rush to Captain Britain’s aid, but can’t stop Albion and Lionheart from making their escape.
Captain Britain realizes the need for a group of superheroes, and asks for Juggernaut, Dazzler, Nocturne, Sage and Peter Wisdom to join his team.
He succeeds where Peter Wisdom did not; New Excalibur is born!

The Scarlet Knights were a family of superheroes who were specialized at search and resque, who could all fly and attended the Farnborough Air Show each year. There they picked up some of the audience to fly with them, when the M-day flash hit them. All except son Colin Hardy lost their powers, resulting in a terrible tragedy.
Colin Hardy commits suicide, blowing himself up, and taking a big part of Shepherd’s Cross Railway Station with him.
At the same time the New Excalibur team is moving into their new headquarters, property of MI-13, The Lake House at the Empress Matilda Docks, Rotherhithe, London.
The team is quickly summoned to help out at the emergency scene.
Later, Peter Wisdom takes Captain Britain and Dazzler from the emergency site to help Sage with the relocation of the Shadow X-men from their current Wormwood Scrubs prison to Crossmore prison.
Juggernaut hears a cry for help, and he and Nocturne find Sammy Paré in a tunnel. Even though they know Sammy is dead, they go in the tunnel. Sammy is not real, and suddenly the tunnel caves in.
Just when they are ready to roll, the prison transport is attacked by mechanical plants.
At the same time Sage is attacked by Shadow Xavier. The prison ward is none other then Black Tom Cassidy in disquise. He takes out Wisdom, and kills Dazzler!

Juggernaut and Nocturne have survived the cave in of the tunnel, but once they are above ground, are attacked by mechanical plants. Juggernaut, possesed by Nocturne, easily defeats them.
Captain Britain is having less luck at the Wormwood Scrubs prison against the mechanical plants. He is struck against the in the meantime airborne prison transport holding the Shadow X-men on board, causing it to crash to the ground. Scicluna has joined Black Tom, but are surprisingly attacked by the back-from-the-dead-again Dazzler!
Wisdom is joining Captain Britain in the fight against the mechanical plants.
Shadow Xavier, who managed to invade Sage’s mind, even though he is still imprisoned in his cell, tries to make her his new pet slave. He takes her back where he thinks she will be more pliable; to the moment she first met Charles Xavier. His tactic fails, and the young Sage shoots Shadow Xavier through the head, resulting in taking him out in the physical world.
In the meantime Juggernaut and Nocturne arrive on the scene, and Juggernaut drops out of the passing ship, landing in the mechanical plants.
Scicluna and Black Air manage the escape with five Shadow X-men, leaving behind Shadow Xavier and Black Tom. Black Tom tries to escape but Cain follows him.
He finds Black Tom in a house, holding a woman hostage. Cain talks to his former partner in crime, and finally manages to make Tom turn himself in.

The team, plus a visiting Psylocke, are watching the Dazzler perform in a club, when they are suddenly called by Wisdom who tells that Shadow Xavier wants to speak with Betsy.
They rush to Crossmore prison where they are briefed by Sage.
Psylocke enters the room with Shadow Xavier, who reveals himself to her being none other then the Shadow King! The others, already possesed by the Shadow King/Shadow Xavier when they entered the prison with the exception of Sage and Captain Britain, make their move against their two teammates. Sage is taken out quickly, leaving Captain Britain alone to stand against his possesed friends.
The Shadow King explains to Betsy how he escaped from her mind and how he came to take over this alternate Charles Xavier; when Vargas ‘killed’ Psylocke and she was pulled by the strings of reality itself, he managed to escape to another universe. He returned to this reality through the cracks formed by the wave the Scarlet Witch made when she ended the House of M reality.
Now he wants for Psylocke to suffer for imprisoning him, but Psylocke sees through his bluff. She knows he can’t hurt her, and attacks the Shadow King with her telekinetic powers resulting in the release he had on her friends.
She makes the final killing strike, stabbing Shadow Xavier with her telekinetic katana through his head. Then Psylocke is suddenly teleported away.

First Appearance: Chamber's new body
We see how M-day effected Jonothan Starsmore aka Chamber; his chest and lower jaw blown away by powers he doesn’t have anymore. He’s only still alive thanks to numorous medical apparatus. ‘Doctor Hartley’ (alias Frederick Slade) has been taking sessions with Jono for weeks now, and just as he is about to explain Jono has options, the ‘doctor’ is interrupted by Peter Wisdom who wants Jono to rejoin the family with the New Excalibur team once he’s fixed up. Slade asks where that family was the last few weeks, since he hadn’t seen one visit Jono. Wisdom wants the ‘doctor’ out when he returns from his smoke. When he returns, he and Jono are gone.
When Jono awakes, his body is whole again. ‘Hartley’ introduces him to the Clan Akkaba, all descendents from Apocalypse, just like Jono. They used Apocalypses blood to make his body whole again. His skin is now grey, his eyes red and he has the same lips as Apocalypse.
Jono thanks them for patching him up, but not for his new looks. As he heads for the exit, Apocalypse makes his presence known. Jono is ready to fight, even without his powers, but Apocalypse says he is free to go.
As he exits the building, New Excalibur arrives. They want to bust some heads, but jono stops them, saying it’s his business, not theirs. He just wants to be left alone.
Inside the house Apocalypse is revealed to have been Ozymandias in disquise. Slade asks when the Clan will finally meet the real Apocalypse to show him how much they have changed since their last encounter over a century ago. Ozymandias promises soon, and they’ll have Chamber to thank for it.
Wisdom and MI-13 later return to the house, but it is already abandoned.
They do find out that Jono does have powers, omega-class even.

We start in the past and see how King Arthur dies in the arms of the original Black Knight, Sir Percy of Scandia. Sir Percy spots fabled Excalibur among the rubble and picks it up. After a fight in a tavern, leaving only Percy alive, he suddenly hears a voice inside his head speaking to him. The voice is that of the Lady of the Lake.
The present Black Knight, Dane Whitman, is in Garret Castle, which has been turned into a Black Knight museum. Dane is on the phone with Captain Britain, who is at the same time capturing soem bankrobbers. Brian wants to make Dane an offer of joining New Excalibur.
When Percy arrives at the lake, the Lady of the Lake says he is England’s only hope in stopping the threat and restoring Camelot and everything that was. Before Percy can ask what she means, he is pulled into the lake by the Lady of the Lake.
At the same time in the present, Percy is suddenly in the body of Dane Whitman. He soon finds on his back the Ebony Blade of this current Black Knight. He smashes the glass in where Percy’s deceased body lies, and takes out a scroll. In the meantime Captain Britain and the rest of the Excalibur team has arrived, and not knowing Dane is now possesed by Percy, he aproaches him from behind wanting to ask what is going on. Dane/Percy lashes out in instinct with the Ebony Blade, cutting Brian. Percy recognizes them but before he can rectify his mistake, the team attacks. His reflexes are still spot on, but a tap on the head by Juggernaut puts him in dreamland. Sage picks up the scroll Percy was holding and looks at it with shock; a drawing of this Excalibur team in Percy’s past!

Percy, still in the body of Dane Whitman, has taken the Excalibur team to the lake in where they will be taken to the past. When they all go in, they emerge in the past before the fall of Camelot. Dane is in control again of his own body. They are welcomed by Percy, also in his own body. Percy learns from the Lady in the Lake that he is in the past before the assasination of Merlin. He rushes to find Merlin battling three huge dragons. They quickly rush to his aid, and together they can chase the dragons away.
Percy tells the story so far to King Arthur, and the team is welcomed by a great feast that night. King Arthur has sent scouts to find the lair of the dragons, but during the feast Merlin is struck with a vision; One scout has found the lair, but is in no condition to tell where it is.

Dane is having a conversation with Merlin, that he doesn’t trust Percy, and that he fears the Ebony Blade has taken control of him. Merlin says he should talk to Percy himself. The two Black Knights start fighing each other. Suddenly Percy shoves the Ebony Blade in Dane’s hand. The Blade is more powerfull now then Dane could have guessed. Percy tell’s another secret; he was not the first Black Knight. Eight men held the blade before him. Each one had to be put down.
Meanwhile, Sage and Wisdom have gone to find the dragons lair hoping to find something of value. They find the lair but also a shocking discovery; hundreds of dragons, dead.
In the meantime Camelot is attacked by the dragons. The knights and Excalibur fight valiantly, but the dragons are powerfull and legion.
When Sage and Wisdom return, Sage asks Merlin to conjure up some formosan herb. Merlin is willing to try anything, and it works. All dragons fall from the sky, sleeping. Sage explains that in the cave they found a spaceship, and that the dragon-like aliens are Makluans. Fin Fang Foom is also part of this race and as he was put to sleep with the herb, so were these others.
Camelot is saved from being destroyed before it’s time, and Excalibur returns to the present through the lake in which they came.
