First Appearance: Angel, Beast, Cyclops, Iceman, Marvel Girl, Charles Xavier, Magneto
Joins: Marvel Girl
Professor Xavier calls his extraordinary students to him, and Angel, Beast, Cyclops and Iceman rush to his side. One by one the students begin their special, individual training session. As they all succesfully end their training session, Professor X telepathically senses the arrival of their newest, female, member.
They all quickly change from their X-Men costumes to normal clothes, and all race downstairs to meet this beautifull redhead. After introductions are made, the new Marvel Girl showes her fellow students what her amazing powers are by telekinetically moving some objects...and Beast!
At that very moment near Cape Citadel, evil mutant Magneto uses his powers of magnetism to sabotage the launch of a top secret rocket. The next day Magneto attacks the launch site, to show in person those present that the day of humans is over and that the time for mutants to rule over the Earth has come. Soldiers rush to stop the evil mutant, but they are swapped aside like flies.
Professor X sends his X-Men to the base to stop Magneto. In the meantime the army have tried everything to break through Magneto’s force field with no success. So when the X-Men arrive they have their doubts, but are willing to try anything.
Cyclops begins the X-Men’s attack, and at the advice of Professor Xavier he unleashes the full power of his optic blast against the magnetic forcefield. Magneto is thrown off balance by the sudden force against his forcefield, and the X-Men can go through. Magneto quickly unleashes five missiles against the X-Men.
While the missiles follow Angel, Iceman takes out three missiles by casting them in ice. They fall harmlessly to the ground. Beast manages to capture the last missile with his feet. Marvel Girl then throws the missile into the nearby sea where it harmlessly explodes. Now that Magneto has seen his enemies in action, he admits he underestimated them.
The X-Men at last spot their foe, but this time Magneto is ready for them. He surrounds Angel with metal objects. Cyclops frees him, but Magneto quickly shoves a fuel tank on fire towards the mutant heroes. Iceman quickly covers his fellow X-Men with an ice shield.
Magneto thinks the X-Men slain, but they attack him by surprise from behind. Holding the X-Men back with a magnetic field, Magneto manages to escape.
The army general thanks the X-Men for stopping and driving away Magneto. The X-Men are heroes!

Story Title: No one can stop the Vanisher!
Writer: Stan Lee (http://www.comixfan.com/xfan/forums/showthread.php?t=13909)
Penciller: Jack Kirby (http://www.comixfan.com/xfan/forums/showthread.php?t=15014)

Letterer: Sam Rosen (http://www.comixfan.com/xfan/forums/showthread.php?t=17863)
First Appearance: Vanisher, Fred Duncan
The X-Men, summoned telepathically by Professor Xavier, race each other to Xavier’s school.
While Beast succesfully hitches a ride with an oncoming train, Angel is less lucky. A mob of young women are holding him up, and they all want a hug, or a kiss! Marvel Girl puts an end to it by lifting all the women telekinetically and placing them on top of a theater.
When Iceman and Cyclops pass a constructionsite on their way to Professor X’s school, they spot a falling wall about to crush three construction workers. Cyclops quickly blasts the wall to powder. The construction workers thank the hero, and they continue their way too Xavier’s school.
When all five students have arrived at the school, Xavier wastes little time and gets right to the mission he has planned for the young heroes. Xavier telepathically shows them how a new evil mutant named the Vanisher succesfully robs a bank and then escapes using his mutant powers.
Before the X-Men can stop this evil mutant, they need some special training so they will be better prepared to fight the Vanisher.
Meanwhile, the Vanisher succesfully enters the Pentagon by simply teleporting into the highly secured building. He is so sure of himself that he tells the general he will steal the continental defense plans when he returns in a few days, and then simply teleports away again. The newspapers make report of the Vanisher’s incredible exploits and every crook in the city flocks to the side of the seemingly invincible Vanisher.
In the meantime the X-Men have finished their training and after Professor X telepathically gets the latest information regarding the Vanisher from FBI agent Fred Duncan at the Pentagon, the X-Men leave for Washington, DC.
Inside the Pentagon, the Vanisher easily gets his hands on the secret plans and teleports away, leaving the guards with nothing to guard anymore. A surprised Vanisher finds the X-Men waiting outside for him. They try to stop him, but despite their training the Vanisher is too fast for them and escapes with the stolen plans.
The X-Men failing in stopping the Vanisher is frontpage news the next day. The Vanisher has demanded ten million dollars, tax free, from the government if they don’t want the plans to go over to the communists.
Despite their failure, professor Xavier is not disappointed in his X-Men considering their youth and lack of experience. Next battle though, he will come along himself to help his students. Professor X makes a high priority call to the White House giving the details of his proposed plan of action against the Vanisher.
When the Vanisher arrives at the White House with a small army of criminals, only the X-Men and Professor X stand in their way from collecting the ten million dollars.
The Vanisher laughs at the whelchairbound Charles Xavier, but when he tries to teleport but can’t, he stops laughing. Professor X is using his telepathic power to stop the Vanisher.
With their leader defeated the criminals want revenge and attack the X-Men. The X-Men have no trouble taking them all out, and the criminals are quickly defeated.

First Appearance: Blob
While the X-Men are training their powers in the school’s Danger Room, Professor Xavier suddenly senses the presence of another mutant. Because he doesn’t know exactly where he or she is, or what powers he or she has, the X-Men must go looking for him themselves. They split up and start the search for the new mysterious mutant.
With the telepathical guiding help of Professor X, Scott Summers finds the new mutant at a nearby carnival. The new mutant is an attraction there who calls himself the Blob. After the Blob’s performance, Scott goes to the Blob’s trailer to invite him to become a member of the X-Men. The Blob has not even a little interest in joining the X-Men. Right that moment Warren and Jean arrive and when the Blob sees Jean, he changes his mind and would love to hear more.
Back at the school, Professor X does some tests on him, and he asks the Blob to join them.
The Blob declines, as he believes he’s stronger then all of them together and thus doesn’t need them. Now that the Blob knows too much private information about the X-Men, he cannot be allowed to walk away with that information. The X-Men must hold him long enough for Professor X to telepathically erase the memory of the information from his mind. The X-Men do their best, but the Blob manages to escape Xavier’s school.
Knowing the X-Men won’t rest until they have captured him, the Blob decides to attack the X-Men first. Now that he knows he is a mutant, the Blob takes over the carnival, and orders them to help him take out the X-Men. When Angel flies over the carnival to check up on the Blob’s plans, they spot him and start shooting at him. The Angel quickly flies away to alert the professor that a strike will be made soon. The professor puts the X-Men on full alert, while he himself is working on a machine that will help him erase the information from so many minds.
The X-Men don’t have to wait long before the attack of the Blob and his carnival henchmen begins. The X-Men fight valiantly but are heavily outnumbered and ultimately defeated. As the Blob and his carnival henchmen are moving towards professor Xavier, the professor telepathically assists Jean to help her escape, so she can release the other X-Men.
Just when the Blob is about to attack the professor head on, the X-Men start round two of the fight. While the X-Men are keeping the thugs occupied, Professor X uses his machine at the precise moment, when their resistance is lowest, to erase the private X-Men information from their minds.
The Blob is now once again an attraction at the carnival.

First Appearance: Mastermind, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, Toad
Origin: Scarlet Witch (flashback)
The X-Men are, once again, training in the awesome Danger Room, unaware that Magneto has not wasted his time when he last fought these uncanny teenagers and formed his own group of superpowered mutants: The Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. While the Brotherhood members are bickering among themselves in their secret island base, Magneto has stolen an old freighter which was to be sold to the highest bidder.
When Magneto returns to his secret base, Toad tells him what transpired in his absence and Magneto has to remember them that personal feelings are nothing, and the plan is all that matters. Quicksilver wants to leave the Brotherhood with his sister, the Scarlet Witch. Magneto throws in his card that the Scarlet Witch owes Magneto her life, and for that reason the Scarlet Witch agrees to stay. Not wanting to leave his sister behind with the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, so does Quicksilver.
Magneto and his Brotherhood of Evil Mutants use the stolen old freighter to take over the tiny republic of Santo Marco. The X-Men enter the little nation as a visiting professor with five students, but Magneto senses their presence.
The X-Men quickly go through their plan of attack, and when they change into costume it is time to act.
The Beast is the first to make his move. He reaches the top with ease, but the suddenly appearing Toad knocks Beast off the castle tower. Beast tries a second attempt but is stopped this time by Mastermind, who created the illusion that the surface the Beast was trying to climb was too smooth to hold onto to.
On the other side of the castle, Angel is doing his part of the X-Men plan of attack. He easily takes out the human soldiers, and even the superfast Quicksilver is no match for the X-man. When the Scarlet Witch sees her brother knocked out on the floor, she uses her mutant hex power to cause the ceiling to cave in attop the Angel. With the aid of two soldiers, the Angel is soon tied up.
At that moment Cyclops enters the scene. He manages to take out the two soldiers, but then Quicksilver holds him from behind and Cyclops can’t control his optic blast, making it strike an electric generator a floor above. Magneto and his Brotherhood run away from the deadly current, leaving behind the X-Men. Cyclops doesn’t give up so easily, and fires a second shot at the generator, blasting the thing through the castle wall. On the ground, the Iceman makes sure the generator causes no more harm. He joins his two comrades above, and while they search the castle for Magneto, are joined by Beast and Marvel Girl.
Suddenly the X-Men see a huge river of burning oil coming towards them, and they start running.
They run into a dead end, but then suddenly Professor X comes to them through the fire! The professor sensed it was nothing more than an illusion and came to his students’ aid.
Meanwhile, Magneto has armed two bombs to make sure their escape: a small one will be placed at the door to guard the second, nuclear bomb that will blow up the entire nation of Santo Marco.
When the X-Men are heading for the booby-trapped door, the professor senses the bomb. Just as the Beast is about to open the door, the professor leaps in front of him, taking the brunt of the blast. The professor survives, but appears to have lost his mutant powers.
Magneto and his Brotherhood of Evil Mutants head for the freighter, but Quicksilver quickly returns to the room with the X-Men and sabotages the nuclear bomb, saving the lives of the X-Men, and Santo Marco. He still believes his place is with the Brotherhood, and so races after them to escape Santo Marco with the stolen old freighter.

First Appearance: Mr & Mrs Grey (Jean's parents)
The X-Men return to their headquarters, and quickly put an already sleeping, and seemingly powerless, Charles Xavier to bed. The X-Men aren’t getting the chance to rest for themselves, as a car approaches their school. Jean forgot her parents were dropping by for a visit, so the X-Men quickly have to change from their costumes to normal clothes!
All goes well up untill they give a tour of the house. Scott is too late to reach the door as the Greys leave the Danger Room, and is trapped inside. Immediately the Room’s programming starts up. It was the Beast’s turn to train, so Scott now faces Hank’s excersizes. He survives...but it was not an easy task!
Meanwhile the Grey’s have finished the tour with their daughter and the other X-Men, and leave none the wiser of the school’s secrets.
As they drive away, they pay no attention to the man passing by. The man is none other than Mastermind, member of Magneto’s Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, looking to find the secret headquarters of their enemies the X-Men. His mission no succes, Magneto orders him to return to their secret base circling the Earth: Asteroid M. Magneto’s next plan is to lure the X-Men out of hiding by sending Toad in disquise to Earth as a new, unknown mutant.
Toad enters a track meet which is broadcasted on T.V. The X-Men notice the weird hopping of the ‘stranger’ and just like the public watching, see him as a mutant. The X-Men race to the scene to stop the mob from hurting the ‘new’ mutant.
They manage to resque the ‘new’ mutant but are unable to leave with their car surrounded by the mob. The only way out is to go on foot, and the X-Men manage to reach a subway train just about to leave.
Onboard, Beast keept thinking he’s seen those moves before. When he wants to take a good look closeby, the Toad’s mask falls off and he quickly jumps out of the subway train. The X-Men chase him outside and just when they got him, Magneto and the rest of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants enter the scene.
With the help of Masterminds illusions causing confusion among the X-Men and the human crowd, the Brotherhood can capture Angel and escape to Asteroid M, but leave Toad behind.
The Toad appears to be in some trance. His only goal is returning to his master, Magneto. They take a step beck and let Toad contact Magneto, who immediately sends a ship to return Toad to Asteroid M. The X-Men hitch a ride, and when the ship arrives on Asteroid M the X-Men waste no time attacking. Magneto sees where the X-Men are thanks to his security camera’s, and with one push of a button the X-Men are trapped, and with another button Magneto means to open the airlock, killing the X-Men!
He is stopped by the Scarlet Witch, who wants nothing to do with murder. Before Magneto can act, Quicksilver jumps in to protect his sister, and then Cyclops enters the room with his eye blast. The other X-Men have freed the Angel from his prison, and face the Toad and Mastermind.
The battle is causing the Asteroid to split in two, and Magneto manages to trap the X-Men on one side, and the Brotherhood on the other side. He only traps Cyclops on the other side though, but Iceman quickly creates an icetunnel to the other side. Angel then races to bring Cyclops back.
The Brotherhood of Evil Mutants have used this time to escape the dangerous Asteroid M, and the X-Men quickly follow their example, and not a moment to soon, as Asteroid M explodes behind them.
When the X-Men return to their school the professor reveals to have been mentally with them all the time. He only pretended having lost his powers, so they could pass their final exam!
They have proven they can think and act for themselves, and so are all passed with flying colors!

New Costume: Marvel Girl
Both Professor X and Magneto see in Namor the Sub-Mariner, a potential new powerfull ally. With their astral projections both Professor X and Magneto search for the powerfull Namor, and Magneto finds Namor’s undersea castle first.
Magneto finds in a jealous, powerhungry Atlantean the perfect candidate to convince Namor to join his Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. With Namor gone, the Atlantean could easily take Namor’s place on the throne.
Meanwhile Professor X has called his students together. Thanks to a news article some days ago about a ship’s compass going mad, and then being magnetically lifted away from a nearby island, professor Xavier now knows the location of Magneto’s base of operations.
They quickly set sail for the island.
Meanwhile, Namor has been convinced by the powerhungry Atlantean to check out Magneto’s offer. Both Namor and Magneto hate the human race, so an alliance could be profitable for Namor.
When Namor arrives at Magneto’s island, he is not highly impressed with what he sees. Magneto quickly orders the Scarlet Witch to introduce herself to the Sub-mariner, in the hope that he will fall for her beauty, and thus will join Magneto’s cause.
Just as Namor and Wanda are about to start a conversation, the X-Men arrive and they waste no time making their presence known.
During the fight, the X-Men manage to capture Quicksilver. Just at that moment, Magneto wants to start up his huge magnet, at full force. Wanda begs for Magneto to not activate the weapon, but snares at her for interfearing. That’s when Namor has heard enough, as he strongly believes that is no way to speak to a woman and starts ripping the nearby computer to shreds. Magneto realizes that Namor will never join him, and quickly wraps metal machine parts around the Sub-Mariner.
Thanks to an illusion cast by Mastermind, the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants can all head for their escape plane, all except the Scarlet Witch and her still captive brother, Quicksilver.
Wanda asks what the X-Men have done with her brother, and demands his release. With Namor no longer ensnared by the metal pieces, he stands by Wanda.
This time it’s a battle between Namor and the X-Men. The young mutants do their best, but they are no match at all for the powerfull Namor. Professor X puts an end to the battle by releasing Quicksilver from his mental command.
Namor has enough of the island and everybody on it. Just as he wants to leap back into the sea he calls his home, he is attacked by Magneto through the evil mutants’ giant magnet. Namor is forced to the ground, but with all his might he strikes the ground beneath him, trembling the entire island, and destroying the magnet.
Released, the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver quickly join in Magneto’s escape. Professor X has allowed the mutant brother and sister to escape, so they can eventually leave Magneto’s Brotherhood of Evil Mutants of their own free will.

First Appearance: Bernard the Poet, Cerebro, Zelda
Joins: Blob (Brotherhood of Evil Mutants)
Quits: Blob (Brotherhood of Evil Mutants)
After taking their graduation photo, Professor Xavier tells his five students he has to leave them for a while, to take care of some unfinished tasks that require his attention. Before leaving, he shows Scott Summers his secret invention, the mutant tracking computer: Cerebro. After that, the professor names Scott leader of the X-Men. Scott doubts the professors decision, but Xavier sees in Scott the rare quality of leadership.
Leaving Scott behind, the other X-Men go out, intending to enjoy the free time they finally have.
In the meantime, Magneto has tracked down the Blob at the carnival to offer him a place among his Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, in the hopes the Blob’s added powers will prove fatal in the next confrontation with the X-Men. He finds the Blob, but senses a mental block around his mind. Before the Master of Magnetism can do something about it though, the owner notices Magneto. Magneto shows who he is, and puts a cage around him. The owner calls for help, and the entire carnival charge in Magneto’s direction. Before they even come close, Magneto’s Brotherhood of Evil Mutants enter the scene and use their mutant powers to easily take care of the mob. When Magneto offers the Blob a place among the Brotherhood, he refuses, and attacks Magneto. Magneto uses a forcebolt to throw the Blob of his back, smacking him hard against a trailer. The impact causes the Blob to regain his memories about the X-Men, and he agrees to join Magneto.
At that moment in X-Men headquarters, Cerebro’s alarm goes off, with the Blob’s name flashing on a panel below. Scott knows what that means: the Blob has regained his memory!
Scott immediately calls back the other X-Men, and just when they have changed into costume, Magneto contacts the X-Men and dares them to come to the address he gives them.
When the X-Men arrive, they only find the Blob waiting for them. Before they can act, Magneto, while hiding, uses his power of Magnetism to rip their helicoptor apart. Iceman quickly makes an iceramp to get his teammates safely down. The X-Men attack the Blob, and now that they are occupied, Magneto starts the second fase of his plan by magnetically launching torpedos at the X-Men. The X-Men still prove too strong and resourcefull though. Magneto and the Brotherhood drop back, leaving the Blob behind.
Blob heads for the X-Men for another attack, and with the X-Men close to each other now, Magneto quickly launches his torpedos towards the X-Men with not a care for the Blob’s life.
The X-Men quickly hide behind the Blob’s body, who takes on the impact of all three torpedos. The Blob is fazed, but unharmed. Magneto and his Brotherhood of Evil Mutants quickly escape, leaving the Blob behind.
The Blob has enough of mutants, evil and good, and decides to return to the one place he knows best, the carnival.

First Appearance: Unus
New Costume: Iceman, Marvel Girl
With the professor on a personal quest in Europe, Scott is overseeing an X-Men training session. All goes well, and Iceman shows he’s gotten more control over his powers by changing his snow-form into an ice-form. All members get the afternoon off, except for Scott himself, who stays behind to do some more work at the mansion.
Bobby and Hank head for the coffee shop, but when a small boy is in danger on top of a water tower, Hank doesn’t have his costume with him, but Hank immediately jumps up the building to save the frightened child, and gives him back to his releaved father. The gathered crowd turns against Hank when he is back on the ground again, and Hank and Bobby only just manage to escape the angry mob.
When they get back to the mansion, Hank tells Scott he has had enough of risking his life for humans who fear and hate him. He quits the X-Men, and a week later Beast has become a new popular pro wrestler!
His next opponent is none other then champion Unus. Beast tries his best, but he just can’t seem to lay a finger, literally, on Unus. When Hank spots Mastermind in the crowd, he realizes Unus must be a mutant, just like himself.
On behalf of Magneto, Mastermind invites Unus to become a member of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, but he first has to prove himself worthy. Finding an X-man, or beating one of them is enough.
The X-Men, minus Beast, are answering a new mutant reading from Cerebro.
At the moment they fly over a bank, the bank is just getting robbed.
Before the X-Men can stop the bankrobbers, Unus has already defeated them, but he wants to keep the money for himself. The X-Men assume he is one of the bankrobbers and try to stop him, but just like their buddy hank, they and their powers can not touch Unus.
Knowing now they found the new mutant presence, they hurry back to the school to think how they can stop Unus. Back at the school, they find none other then their good friend Beast, already working on a devise to stop Unus. The devise Hank made will increase Unus’ power.
When Hank finds Unus, he activates the devise, and Unus indeed becomes more powerfull!
But the plan of Hank is working, for now Unus’ forcefield is so strong, he can not turn it off, even to eat. Realizing he will die otherwise, he promises he will behave himself and not join Magneto’s Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.

First Appearance: Lucifer
A week after Professor X has left the X-Men for his personal quest in Europe, he contacts Scott at the school, and he summons his X-Men to come after him. In case he fails, the X-Men must stop Lucifer for him.
Professor X contacts the X-Men to transmit his latest location to them, and reveals to his X-Men that it was Lucifer who cost him the use of his legs. Professor Xavier has to break contact though, as he is getting too close to Lucifer’s underground lair. Seconds after he breaks contact with his X-Men, Xavier is captured by Lucifer in a transparent bubble.
The professor uses his gun to blast free of his prison, but before he can take action against Lucifer, Lucifer warns Xavier that should his heartbeat stop, a thermal bomb large enough to blow up a continent will be activated. Lucifer is now free to act against the X-Men, who have arrived in the country by then.
The Avengers have also arrived at the European country, as Thor’s hammer has led them to this place where there is a great, strong evil present.
Lucifer quickly fires a destructive ionic ray aimed against the X-Men above ground. Professor X quickly uses his astral projection to warn his students before they are killed by the deadly ray. He reaches them just in time, and the X-Men jump clear a second before the ray hits the ground.
Soon after, the Avengers arrive at the scene, and want to take out the evil not knowing about the bomb. The X-Men do, and thus try to stop the Avengers from interfearing. The X-Men do their best, but know they can’t hold out long against the mighty Avengers.
Meanwhile Professor Xavier uses his mental powers to make Lucifer lose consciousness.
Knowing he needs his X-Men to disable the bomb, he quickly uses his astral projection to race to the battle and quickly explains to Thor why the X-Men tried to stop the Avengers. Thor explains the story to his fellow Avengers, and leave the X-Men to take care of the threat.
The X-Men rush to the underground base of the still unconcious Lucifer, and together with his X-Men, Xavier disables the bomb. When Lucifer is conscious again, Xavier lets him walk away, knowing it’s enough that he has been defeated and that the X-Men will find him if he ever tries something evil again.

First Appearance: Ka-zar, Zabu, Savage Land (unnamed), Maa-gor
While his teammates are training, Warren is glued to the television. When his fellow X-Men come looking for him, they are just in time to see the reason of Warren’s lateness. On the television there is a report about an Antarctic expedition being seemingly attacked by a saber-tooth tiger and a man wearing barely any clothes. The X-Men immediately suspect he is another mutant and rush to professor Xavier, only to hear that he is not a mutant.
But since the X-Men have been inactive for weeks now, they have Xavier’s permission to check it out anyway.
When the X-Men arrive at the place where the expedition was attacked, they find a hidden tunnel. After hours of descending, they arrive in a huge cave, full of enormous skeletons.
When they exit the cave, they enter a place that time seems to have forgotten: a huge landscape, kept warm thanks to some volcanos, where dinosaurs are still alive!
Not long after, the X-Men are attacked by warriors. Things don’t look good, but the wariors retreat when Ka-zar arrives. The warriors do manage to take Marvel Girl captive though.
Angel, on a scouting mission of the land, has no clue what has happened, and is himself captured by warriors thanks to a carefully thrown net.
In the camp of the warriors, Warren is reunited with Marvel Girl, and both of them are immediately brought before a huge, hungry tyrannosaurus rex. Marvel Girl manages to free Angel, and the both of them make a hasty getaway from the big dinosaur.
Meanwhile the X-Men, with help from Ka-zar and Zabu, have arrived at the warriors’ camp, and even though they are greatly outnumbered, they manage to drive the warriors away from the camp.
When the X-Men once again leave for the surface world, Ka-zar closes the entrance to the world that time forgot.

First Appearance: Stranger
Quits: Quicksilver (Brotherhood of Evil Mutants), Scarlet Witch (Brotherhood of Evil Mutants)
Professor Xavier’s new radar-image beam has picked up the presence of a new being more powerfull then they ever encountered so far. The X-Men hope to get to him before Magneto and his Brotherhood of Evil Mutants does.
But Magneto has already found the stranger, or rather he found them! The man asks why he should join them and Magneto and his Brotherhood use their powers to show the stranger why. He isn’t impressed at all by the powers thrown at him, and decides it’s time to show them his. The mysterious man emits a blast of energy throwing the Brotherhood back, and fires a ray that turns Mastermind into a solid block of matter.
At that moment the X-Men arrive and Angel flies in first. He is slapped around by Quicksilver until Iceman stops Quicksilver by covering the speedster with a coat of ice. The Stranger has no desire to watch the fight and decides to leave. Magneto joins him, as does Toad who jumps into the cone of energy made by the strange man.
The Scarlet Witch is worried about her brother, still coated in a thick layer of ice. Scott concentrates and uses his optic blast to free Quicksilver. Marvel Girl asks what they should do with the siblings now, but they give the solution themselves. Nothing, as they have served Magneto for the last time. They owed him a debt, but that has been repaid many times over.
Cyclops asks the two if they would like to join the X-Men, but Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch have enough of battling fellow mutants for now and plan to return to their home in central Europe.
When the X-Men, with the help of Professor X, find the three who left the previous battle, they find Magneto and the Toad wrapped in cocoons. The strange man appears again, revealing that he is a Stranger from the stars. His people are greatly interested in mutations, traveling from planet to planet, taking specimens of mutants back to his world. From Earth, he takes Magneto and Toad, never to return.

First Appearance: Juggernaut, Kurt Marko, Sharon Xavier, Brian Xavier (name only)
Origin: Juggernaut, Professor X
The X-Men quickly prepare the school for the incoming threat detected by Cerebro.
When the X-Men are ready with the precautions, Professor X finally reveals who the threat exactly is: none other then Xavier’s stepbrother!
Xavier quickly tells his students the full story.
It al started many years ago where a young Charles Xavier lost his father to an atomic blast test at Alamagordo, New Mexico. Dr Marko managed to escape the blast, and offers to help Sharon and Charles because of his friendship with Brian Xavier.
Months later Kurt Marko persuaded the griefstrucken Sharon Xavier that Charles needed a father, and they got married. Kurt only did it all for Sharon’s wealth and the power it brought with that wealth, as Charles had always suspected. Not long after, Kurt revealed his true intentions to Sharon in an outburst when Sharon and Charles entered his lab.
The next day, the son of Kurt Marko’s former marriage arived at the Xavier estate.
From the first meeting, Cain Marko was cruel and mean to Charles.
Not long after, Charles’ heart-broken mother died.
Charles overhears a conversation between Kurt and his son who is asking him for some money. Kurt says to Cain to earn it, just like he did. Cain responds that he knows all too well how his father earned his money, claiming that it was no accident that Brian Xavier died at Alamagordo. Kurt grabs his son and demands that he never ever say something like that ever again. Charles steps into the room at that moment, having heard everything. Kurt denies any truth to the words of Cain but to stop Charles from telling anyone what he just heard, Cain quickly grabs a test tube of fluid to throw at Charles. Kurt tries to stop his son as the liquid is highly explosive, but in doing so the fluid makes contact with other fluids and the result is a big explosion. Although fatally injured himself, Kurt managed to drag Charles and Cain to safety. With his dying breath he tells Charles the truth about his father’s death. It was indeed an accident, but Kurt might have saved him, if he tried, but he didn’t. Asking for forgiveness, he warns Charles to beware of Cain when he finds out about Charles’ power, and then Kurt dies. Charles has no idea what he means though with ‘power’.
Later in his teens, Charles understood quite well what Kurt meant. He could read minds!
A by-product of his telepathic powers was that he was already starting to lose his hair. As he grew older, Charles Xavier excelled at everything thanks to his powers. After his latest winning, he decided to quit sports because it just wasn’t fair and easy.
Back home Xavier put his latest trophy on top of the shelf, and, green of jealousy and envy, Cain throws all trophy’s on the floor. That was the last straw and Charles punches Cain in the face. That only enrages him further and Xavier can read in Cain’t mind what he plans to do, and thus Charles knocked him out with one well placed hit in Cain’s neck.
After vacation, Cain offers to drive Charles to school, and in hoping to win his friendship, Charles accepts. But Cain is driving like a madman, and he won’t stop untill Charles begs to stop the car. Before Charles has a chance to react to Cain’s words, the car is going over a cliff.
Charles managed to mentally help Cain leap for safety, but for Charles himself it was too late.
Charles survived the crash by harnessing his brain power to it’s fullest.
The last time Charles saw Cain was when they were both serving the army during the Korean war. Cain deserted though when thing got to hot for him, and ran into a cave.
Charles went after him to stop him, but they both unknowingly entered the Temple of Cyttorak! Cain touched the ruby, reading the inscription on it, and thus turning him into Juggernaut. At that exact moment, the Temple is caving in, and Charles quickly heads for the exit, alone.
While Xavier told his students this story, the Juggernaut in the meanwhile has breached the schools defenses, and pounds himself into the room whith Xavier and his X-Men. One fell swoop and all the X-Men are thrown on the ground, leaving Charles Xavier face to face at long last with his stepbrother after all this time.
