"We have a huge feature showing all the figures (including the ultra-rares) and counting down the top 40 figures in power order," editor Mike Searle told X-Fan. "Who's better - Elektra or Scarlet Witch? Will Magneto be the most powerful villain?"

"Plus, elsewhere in the book, we have sneak peeks at WizKids' upcoming DC HeroClix game, Mechwarrior game, new Mage Knight news and a super price guide devoted to all things WizKids."

Searle also provided X-Fan with a first look at New X-Men artist Frank Quitely's cover for the issue, featuring Wolverine vs Spider-Man. Click the image below to view the full-sized version in a new browser window.

Thats a nice looking cover. This will be my first issue of Inquest that I ever bought. I can't wait to see what they say about Hreoclix as it looks to be great. Can't wait to see the figures.

I guess I'm just used to his Wolverine ( although he still looks like a new member of the village people, someone get this guy a shirt, PLEASE) but Quietly's Spider-Man shows why Morrison wanted to get rid of costumes! Ugh Quietly draws costumes like they're pj's!

I really like Quitely art, he did a great JLA Earth 2 book, and was fantastic in The Authority. However, I don't think his style fits everyone.

I think he's best with, gritty, characters. Everything he draws seems to have this undertone of slimyness. In that way he reminds me of Texeria. Great for Wolverine, not so great for Spider-Man. Quitely's art has to fit the tone of the book, which I think it does perfectly for New X Men.

As for Heroclix, you know I can't wait! This way I know I don't have to try and complete a set the first day it comes out to see all of the figs, although Wizkids site claims they'll have all of the figs up the same day. Should be a bonanza. I'm glad to see their pre-empting Star Wars TCG for Wizkids.

This really makes me yearn for monthly Quitely.

I find it funny that this magazine wasn't delayed a month so the cover could be ready. ;)
