How lucky it is that I found you before they even thought to look. To think they’d be thick enough to realise their Jenny would be reincarnated, but wouldn’t think that my Rose Tattoo, the Living Spirit of Murder would pass on to another host....
Time has passed and the world has change. StormWatch, it's goals and it's deceased member are nothing but a mere memory of what was. From it's ashes a new power has risen and taken control -- The Authority. During the rebellion to remove them as the governing force of North America a figure from the past is revealed to have been behind the anarchy that has ensued. Henry Bendix, who himself was presumed dead. Once more aligned with The Spirit of Murder. Never really dieing, Rose is once more reunited at her master's side. This Rose, however, is different to the previous incarnation of the spirit: She openly talks, not only to just Henry but others, where the previous spirit refrained from talking to anyone other than Henry. She has retained the position as his personal assassin, confidant, and lover. During the closing acts of the Revolution it was revealed that the late Doctor -- whose passing was attributed to a mass cocaine overdose -- was actually the result of a sexual encounter with Rose. Although clearly aware of what she was doing and how she did it, Rose had a certain naïve/innocent charm to her that the other never displayed, and this led to the Doctor becoming easy prey for her. Whilst one was cold, silent and ruthless, this one is more playful and talkative -- although both incarnations are as lethal as each other: Both shared the same sense of sexual gratification over the kill, and total lack of morality.
During the final stages of the conflict with the Authority, Rose, fearing Henry had been harmed take’s the offensive -- and having already taken one of their number with relative ease, Rose seriously wounded Swift with a mere kiss, draining her life force from her, and leaving her to die. She has no qualms about confronting Jenny Quantum directly, Pouncing on her she tries to take her out with a kiss, a futile move, Jenny is clearly the dominate force and discharges her with ease. Merely wounding Rose, Jenny leaves her to the new Doctor. Rose, sensing his insecurities and sheer bewilderment to his new position naively feel’s she has the upper-hand and makes her move. Although overconfidence seems to be a trait that inflicts this new Rose. As a result of her dismissive approach the Doctor quickly Turns the situation to his advantage and entangles her with her own Tattoos, by making them burst from her body into life. Whilst entangled by her Tattoos, the Doctor realising that Rose was, in fact a spirit, and that killing her would not be a permanent solution. Instead, he reverses her to her complete opposite, transforming her from the Spirit of Death to the Spirit of Life. This new Rose is gentle, innocent and appears remorseful for her past actions, and requests membership with the team to atone for her actions. Whether Rose's transformation lasts has yet to be seen, but for the meantime, her membership was granted.
Rose's methods of killing had changed somewhat to a more unique and deadly from. As a black widow kills its mate, so did Rose to her helpless victims: She would seduce her prey, enjoy them, and then upon reaching climax, kill. The feeling that they received was of a nature so intense it would prove deadly. Rose now had the touch of death; Contact with Rose’s skin would immediately start to decay the person, leading to irreversible death. She would demonstrate this new ability by either touch, or as in her nature to enjoy the moment, through a simple kiss. As the Spirit of Life, Rose's new powers are yet to be fully explored, but she now acts as a complete opposite to her previous self. Therefore, her touch now heals and regenerates, and no longer is she the cold blooded killer she once.
