When Vee was a young girl, an alien meteorite crashed into her home. Though the Canadian government confiscated the object, the radiation from it had an unusual effect on Vee, who began to become invisible.
As Vee entered high school, she was placed in the superhero school, the Seminary. There, she was attracted to classmate Punchy, and began sending him anonymous, romantic text-messages. Though painfully shy, she was befriended by the lusted-for Destra. Destra helped her to boost her confidence, as well as teaching Vee how to talk to adults. When Destra found out about Vee’s text-messages, she secretly set up a meeting between Vee and Punchy in the library.
When Punchy encountered Vee in the library, instead of Destra as he expected, he brutally insulted Vee, leaving the young girl heartbroken and bitter. Vee, however, was luckier in her next attempt at romance. While at the school dance, she and the bass player for The Weirdness began a relationship.
Vee soon teamed up with Destra, Punchy and the Duke to discover what would happen when Sykes’ null-field was disabled. Vee snuck into Sykes’ room and turned it off, and immediately all four were drawn into a hallucinatory world. Vee and the Duke found themselves watching Sykes’ parents discussing their history after being fatally shot. Duke broke down and began to confess his darkest fears and desires, and Vee comforted him until Kefong set Sykes’ shield back up.
Vee later became host to Della Cruz, a marketing researcher looking into teens’ personal lives so as to know how better to market Vibe Cola. Vee showed her around the school and introduced her to favorite internet sites, but in end the refused to try Vibe Cola, leaving Della disappointed.
Destar, after being shot down by the Duke, approached Vee and shared bits of her plan to uncover the school secrets. The bass player from the Weirdness also called on Vee, asking her to accompany him on his band tour. Vee accepted, deluding her mother into thinking it as a visit to an old friend.
She soon dropped the bass player in favor of the lead singer, Bain. She was soon involved in a TV scandal when she and her lover exposed their naked lower-halves during a live feed. After her lover broke up with her, she returned to the Seminary, still treasuring the experiences of her summer, though she didn't regret anything.
Vee’s natural state is invisible, and she has the power to make herself visible. She’s very talented at eavesdropping because of this.
