Shatterstar is working as a gladiator in Madripoor when a mysterious woman asks him to kill “the Destroyer”, a genetically modified murderer. This man is revealed to be Dominicus Pierce and he tells Shatterstar about the Five Fingers of Annihilation, the only weapon capable of defeating a threat called the Skornn.
