Death: Sammy Pare (memory)
The X.S.E., along with Juggernaut and Nocturne, battles Mojo and Spiral, but are quickly bested when Spiral transforms all but Psylocke into 'X-Babies', child-like versions of their respective selves sans powers. Fleeing their attackers, the team splits up, and Mojo sends his 'Exile Legal Eagles' after them, six twisted simulacra of certain members of the universe-tossed Exiles. Storm and the team ends up winning, but not before she and Juggernaut have a heart-to-heart, which allows Cain to work through some of his guilt over Sammy Pare's death.

First Appearance: X-Com (Alternate male versions of Psylocke, Polaris, Shadowcat, Rogue, Marvel Girl and Storm)
New Costume: Saturnyne
While the X.S.E. battle Weaponeers in East Africa, the world fades away, with Psylocke and Marvel Girl escaping the apparent destruction. They appear in what Rachel believes to be the White-Hot Room, "the very core of creation itself" and "the heart of the Phoenix."
Elsewhere, on Otherworld, one of the primary intersections of reality, Meggan awakes in a fright, crying out for her husband. Brian, the King of Otherworld and former Captain Britain of Earth-616, runs into the room, and attempts to calm his wife. Meggan's scream heard by the whole of the Captain Britain Corps, three members arrive, and ask about what's wrong. Meggan tells them what she senses, that "it is the end... of all that is... of all that will ever be!" The five fly outside, as a wave of multi-colored energy seemingly obliterates the palace and tosses them through a myriad of alternate realities.
Meanwhile, in her Starlight Citadel at the centerpoint of creation, Celestial guardian, Roma tries and fails to sustain her surroundings. As Roma's home crumbles around her, the mad Jim Jaspers materializes and nearly kills her, being struck down by Brian Braddock. Saturnyne, Majestrix of the omniverse appears behind Brian and blames him and his Earth for the destruction. Unable to best Brian herself, Saturnyne walks off, calls in her personal guard. The seven tussle, with Brian beating the guard, as Saturnyne heads for the Celestial Nullifier, which would allow her to excise Earth-616. Brian stops her before his brother Jamie appears, smashes the Nullifier, and disappears in a flash.
Later, in Roma's council chamber, Brian, Meggan, Roma, Saturnyne and two alternate Captains Britain discuss the situation. Roma agrees to send Brian back to his Earth to fix the problem, with the warning that he may be affected by warp that currently surrounds it and forget his purpose. Roma gives him until the Nullifier is repaired, forty-eight hours at the most.
Back in the White-Hot Room, Psylocke leads a conga line of alternate versions of herself, while Rachel ponders their current predicament. Rachel explains that she is unique in the omniverse, and the two recall relatives who have died and been resurrected, including Rachel's mother, Jean, and Besty's brother, Brian. Jamie appears again, telling the two that they've had enough downtime and revelations, and that's it's up to them to save the world. Rachel and Betsy are seemingly pulled into the holoempathic crystal which Rachel wears around her neck, and appear in front of Braddock Manor, Betsy's ancestral home, as a Sentinel looks on.

First Appearance: Marvel Girl (as Lady Rachel Grey), Psylocke (as Her Royal Highness, Elisabeth Gloriana, Princess-Royal of the Realm), Captain Britain (as King Brian Braddock of England), Meggan (as Queen Meggan of England), "House of M" Marauders (Callisto - leader, Mammomax, T-Rex, Sunder, Banshee, Blob)
New Costume: Psylocke, Marvel Girl
In Great Britain, Psylocke and Rachel debate their response to the Sentinel that looms over them, when, in a flash, the two are shifted to fit with the new world they have entered. Wearing civilian clothing and remembering only their lives in the "House of M," Princess Elisabeth and Lady Rachel, her royal bodyguard, continue into a party thrown by Betsy's brother, Brian, the King of England. Tearfully greeting her brother, Betsy explains that the reports of her death in Spain were exaggerated, while Ray catches up with Meggan, Brian's queen.
Later that night, Brian dreams of his mission for Roma and Saturnyne, and awakens in a fright. Telling the women in his life of his nightmare, Brian refuses Rachel's dismissal of the events, and instead wonders how best to handle the situation, with Meggan suggesting calling in Magneto. Peter Wisdom, Brian's personal bodyguard, leads Courtney Ross into the room, with Brian lashing out, assuming her to be the evil counterpart, Opa-Lun Sat-Yr9.
Betsy tries to stop the king, with Wisdom holding her off with a volley of hot-knives, and Rachel's attempts result in her being launched out a nearby window. However, when Brian fails to reveal "Sat-Yr9's" tattoo, he realizes that she is, in fact, Courtney Ross. As the group continues to frustratedly discuss the situation, they receive a report of S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Wolverine going rogue, and closer to home, two mutant signatures, one of which appears to be genetically related to Lord Magneto.
In the West Country, Juggernaut fends off the Marauders, until a combined attack brings him down, but their leader, Callisto, reminds her team that their real target has still to be captured. As Brian, Meggan, Betsy and Rachel arrive, the king and his queen distract all but T-Rex, while Betsy and her bodyguard head for a nearby town, for Rachel has telepathically located Nocturne.
The two search for the prized mutant, only to have Nocturne try to possess Psylocke with a failed result, and her begging that her apparent attackers don't hurt her. All Rachel and Betsy can do is comment on the girl's inhuman appearance and the possibility of scandal.

First Appearance: Caliban, Black Tom Cassidy (both as "House of M" Marauders)
Psylocke, Marvel Girl and the Rachel-calmed Nocturne sit in ruins in the west of England. Psylocke warns the two that something's coming, as T-Rex and Caliban of the Marauders arrive, demanding that they yield in the name of Magneto. Rachel has Nocturne possess her, so as to hide the girl from her trackers, and Psylocke attempts to convince the Marauders that only she and her royal guard are present. The two don't believe her, with T-Rex getting a little too close for comfort to Rachel, and Betsy reacting instinctively with a telekinetic slash. Black Tom Cassidy appears, entangling Betsy in his vines while teasing her about their respective powers. Peter Wisdom shows up, hitting the gargantuan tree-man with a volley of hot-knives, and Psylocke takes out Tom with a short-circuit to his brain stem, apparently reverting him to human form. Rachel takes off, with Betsy following after.
Meanwhile, right outside, Brian is still attempting to negotiate with the Marauders' leader, Callisto, to no avail. Just as the two seem to come to an understanding, Meggan begins shifting between personalities: Roma, reminding her champion that the fate of all creation rests on his shoulders, Saturnyne, restating Roma's warning to not be subsumed by the new reality, and finally Jamie, repeating to his brother, "Tick-tock, Baby brother. Tick-tock. Time's a wastin'!" Meggan slips from her last form, falling into her husband's arms.
Elsewhere, Rachel speeds through the air, Psylocke still in tow, until Betsy decides that they are far enough from the Marauders to bring Ray down. Nocturne, in Rachel's body, stands to fight, with Betsy realizing this. The two tussle, with Psylocke literally bringing down the house on Ray, who surrenders, saying that T.J. is "asleep." Rachel tells Betsy that Nocturne knows her name, Talia Josephine Wagner, but nothing else, especially not why the Marauders are after her, and Ray explains that she'll retain Nocturne in her being for the moment, as she's better off where she is. Rachel asks where they are, and Psylocke tells her that they are near the ruins of her old playground, St. William's Tower. The two converse back and forth about the history of the tower, with Rachel explaining its Chinese origins and showing scenes from Betsy's childhood. Ray notices a lighthouse in the distance, with a giant 'X'-shaped hole "slashed through reality" in front of it. Betsy falls into the 'X,' her costume changing back to what it was before being altered by the reality wave.
Back at Braddock Manor, Brian enjoys a glass of wine while Meggan sleeps off her ordeal from earlier. Suddenly, Brian sees his brother Jamie in the mirror, and recalls his mission from Roma and events leading up to it. Meggan awakens in Jamie's form, slapping her husband upside the head, reminding him of the 48-hour time limit before the Omniversal Majestrix, Saturnyne, will excise their reality. Brian asks himself whether he is as mad as his brother, with Meggan, now back in her default form, trying to spur her husband to action, as the two royals notice a Sentinel peering at them through the window. Leading a fairly large group of the mutant-hunting machines, Omega Sentinel Karima Shapandar taunts the couple from outside, and announces Brian's arrest at her hand.
Back at the Lighthouse, Rachel pulls Psylocke free of the "quantum tear" as Betsy informs her that she is fine but that the universe is sick. The Marauders attack the pair, with Nocturne jumping out of Rachel and into T-Rex's waiting claws. Betsy warns Callisto of the impending danger, but the Marauders' leader refuses to listen, instead socking Psylocke with a tentacle. Betsy finds herself bleeding from her nose and back at Braddock Manor, as she shares the experience of her twin brother, Brian.
The same occurs for Brian, with him witnessing the aftermath of the battle with the Marauders, his nose even bleeding similarly to Betsy's. Back in the moment, Brian and Karima exchange words, with Brian taking her down along with three Sentinels in a single shot. Karima reforms her arm from the wreckage of her fallen compatriots, and sentences Brian and his family to death.

Death: Courtney Ross (apparent)
Karima Shapandar, Brian and Meggan Braddock, and a flock of Sentinels battle outside Braddock Manor. Inside, Peter Wisdom prompts Courtney Ross and Linda MacQuillan to leave, only to have Linda defend herself from an attacking Sentinel and reveal her true self as Captain UK. Meanwhile, Justicer Bull has shown up, demanding that the Sentinels cease and desist, with Karima blasting her and a Sentinel attempting to crush her beneath its enormous, mechanical boot. No such luck, though, as Justicer Bull rends the robot from within, tearing its head open and sending its body falling towards Karima, with whom Brian tries again to reason.
Suddenly, Brian's back at the Lighthouse, as again he's twin-synching with his sister, Betsy. Psylocke, Rachel and Nocturne continue to battle Callisto and her Marauders, with the girls gaining the upper hand.
Back at Braddock Manor, Karima is able to take Brian off-guard, knocking him away. She prepares to fatally blast him, only to have Courtney jump in the way, seemingly dying as a result. Wisdom hot-knifes Karima back, allowing Brian to Courtney's body, as Meggan watches her husband grieve over his first love. At first doubting herself, Meggan refuses to give in to the goblin that haunts her soul, instead becoming more certain of her position at her husband's side. Wisdom warns the majesties of the large herd of Sentinels heading their way, with UK and Bull offering to take care of them, so that Brian can go save the world.
Back on the beach, Nocturne slams the possessed Banshee into a rock face, as Psylocke congratulates the girl on her battle prowess. Brian and Meggan arrive, allowing the twins another reunion, this time in their right minds. They converse about the "hole in causality itself," realizing their mission to seal it. Karima interrupts, standing atop the three defeated warriors. Through a combined blast of Sentinel power and the gestalt telekinesis of Psylocke and Rachel, the Lighthouse is blown away, revealing the X-shaped tear in reality. Juggernaut attempts to plug the hole with the unconscious Blob to no avail, as Roma's clock closes in on twelve.
Back in the ruins of the Starlight Citadel, Saturnyne again prompts the Celestial Guardian to excise the reality before it's too late, but Roma refuses; she still has faith in her champion.
Meggan briefly takes Roma's form, reminding Brian of the time constraints on his mission, with Betsy responding that they've been trying. Back in her default form, Meggan and Brian discuss the matter, and share a kiss, as Meggan explains that she can harness the powers of the beyond, that if Brian can seal the tear... Juggernaut interrupts, asking for expedition. Brian shoos Juggernaut away from the rift, as Meggan charges toward it. She grows the closer she gets to the tear, finally diving through as Brian, Betsy and Rachel proceed to use their talents to close and seal it behind her.
Meggan floats against a field of stars, hoping to claim enough pan-dimensional power to fend off the wave of energy that has already claimed so many worlds. The three on the other side close and seal the rift, Betsy having convinced Brian not to go after Meggan. A flash erupts from the sealed rift, but seems to leave everything undamaged, as Brian praises the beauty of the miracle taking place; that the cosmos is healing itself. Rachel attempts to remind Brian of his wife's sacrifice, with Nocturne assuring her that he knows, as Brian looks up at the starry sky.
