I swear to God I've never seen so much lurking in my life!! This website is the lurking capitol of the Internet. There'll be 100 people online and nobody posting. It's crazy! :cuckoo:
Does everyone just read all of the reviews and never discuss or something?

First off, welcome to the site.
That's a very good question. Yes, it's peculiar that we'll have something like 20 signed-up members online and 200 "guests" lurking. Whereas the typical forum of any subject (not just comics) would usually be the other way around. So we have the same amount of visitors as any mid-to-large net community; most of ours just aren't talking as much...
If you're new, you might not know the history of our bandwidth problems. For years, we were plagued with heavy traffic that blocked people from seeing our content. So it wasn't really all that encouraging to keep on clicking [Refresh] till we "got through" for discussion/posting. Even with our Reviews section, as you've noted too, which we're very proud to be a big draw with its coverage running a wide spectrum, it was just annoying to be faced with those heavy traffic no-posting blocks.
Fortunately, the site redesign has relieved us of that problem. Now we just hope all those lurkers realise this, and just need to encourage more people to sign up and talk! :yeah:

And I just wanted to say THANK YOU for that. I swear, it seemed like EVERY time I signed online there was too much traffic. Now I haven't gotten that annoying message in I don't know how long. Whoever fixed the bandwidth problems needs a  .
