April '05 brings comic fans the return of Power Pack to the Marvel Universe, more Cimmerian action with a new Conan mini, a Stargate: Atlantis Preview book by former Marvel editor Stuart Moore, spin-offs from DC's Countdown event series, a return to the Rising Stars universe, a new direction for Marvel's Prince of Power Hercules, Magdalena vs Dracula in Top Cow's Monster War, new Vertigo horror with screenwriter Hans Rodionoff's Mnemovore, Frank Cho's undead Zombie King, the official comic adaptation of the final Star Wars movie, and much more!
So what will you be checking out?

definitely OMAC Project for me, and Morrison's take on Zatanna. i'm curious about Day of Vengeance so i'll give it a shot.
beyond the options given, i'd say i'm most looking forward to Will Eisner doing a Spirit/Escapist team up in The Escapist #6, Rags Morales and Michael Blair taking over artistic duties on Wonder Woman, Darren Arronofsky's The Fountain hardcover (one of the few times i'm compelled to actually buy a hardcover and not just wait for the soft), and the conclusion of Phoenix: Endsong. also personally looking forward to the latest Green Arrow trade and the second collected volume of DC: New Frontier.

From that list:
GLA #1 - Loved these guys in Byrne's old West Coast Avengers run and I've heard good things about Slott, so I figure I'll give it a try.
Seven Soldiers : Zatanna #1 - Looking forward to this most of all. Zatanna rocks, Sook's an awesome artist and then there's that strange Glaswesgian going by the initials GM to contend with. Should be a 5 star effort.
Mnemovore #1 - Intrigued by the premise and I make it a point to never miss a Vertigo #1.
OMAC Project #1 - While I'm not keen on the idea of these "Big events", Greg Rucka almost always delivers, and it will be interesting to see what he can do with the Kirby's old One Man Army Corps.
Day of Vengeance #1 - Sitting on the fence about this. Like the Spectre, dig Winningham on Fables, but I'll make a decision in-store on this one.
Very much tempted by Fountain as well Jordan, though the HC price may scare me away, especially since my store always keeps HCs shrinkwrapped. While I love the hardcover format, I also like to know what I'm getting before shelling out the cash.
But then...its is Arronofsky..

SS: Zatanna, obviously, though Klarion The Witch Boy is sadly missing from the poll.
I'll probably check out OMAC, since it's the sort of thing Greg Rucka does so well. (If find a lot of his superheroes a bit dull)
P. Craig Russell always intrigues me, but Conan interests me about as much as a Punisher/Wolverine teamup miniseries. We shall see.
Stuff I'm looking forward to that isn't on the list: Nil & Skaggy The Lost from SLG, and DC is publishing Mike Carey's 2000AD book, Thirteen.
Also, the latest estimate has volume two of Scott Pilgrim shipping in April. If that's true, SP is definitely the book of the month.

Nothing really stands out... Nil I'm looking forward to more than anything else...
Hercules, GLA, Iron Ghost. Death Jr and City of Tommorow also interest, but none I'm committed to.

My top choice would be either GLA or Power Pack, two great 80s concepts finally making their returns. I also voted for Iron Ghost (Dixon + war is always a great combination), Mnemovore (intriguing concept), Rising Stars (miss the series already), and Zatanna (though I am not completely sold on this Soldiers thing yet). I may try the Countdown spin-offs, but it is a bit hard to judge with Countdown still weeks away. :)
Beyond this list, I am definitely looking forward to Batman: Jekyll & Hyde (really starting to appreciate Jenkins... all your fault, Von). ;)

I picked Death Jr., OMAC, and Zatanna. I might get GLA and Power Pack.

I voted for Day of Vengeance, GLA, Hercules, Seven Soldiers: Zatanna, and Toxin. Of all of them the ones I'm most looking forward to are GLA and Day of Vengeance.

Definatly Great Lakes Avengers #1 and Toxin, other than that I dunno, Power Pack doesn't really sound too appealing to me. We'll see what happens when the books actually go on sale. It would be interesting to see how long they can keep a benevolant symbiote character going this time around.

Nothing here that really interests me, I'm afraid (actually, that's good, I already get too many comics). If anything...I'd probably go for GLA #1. Funny...

i find it odd that Will Eisner's last Spirit work ever didn't make the list. at the very least, it's a nice tribute to the man who pioneered the comics industry through several generations.

Mnemovore, and a pantload of stuff that's not on the list. Besides many of the things my well-read compatriots have already mentioned, April brings a new entry into the Bilal Library called Memories and the collection of the latest Blue Monday series.

heh...they're getting the collection out faster than they did the last issue of the series then. ;)

Toxin for me. I loved the first run (Venom Vs Carnage) can't wait for more.

My pick, well, not 100% sure, though maybe, OMAC Project #1, GLA #1 and Seven Soldiers: Zatanna #1, like the first two issues of Seven Soldiers so far. Anyway, anyone tell me, why should I get excited over Power Pack? Are they a kidde version of Fantastic Four or something?

I think I'm going with OMAC Project, followed by Official Handbook of The Marvel Universe: Spider-Man 2005, Day of Vengeance #1, and Toxin #1.

Can't believe GLA is leading the poll.
Another fact that web fans are not representative of the whole comic market, other wise She-hulk and Runaways sales will be bigger and Marvel will put second toughts in putting Wolverine on every issue.

Are you sure about that? Cause last month's poll shows X-Men: Age of Apocalypse #1 in second, while X-Men: The End -- Heroes & Martyrs #1 leading the pack and these titles are big sellers. If there was an X-Men title to choose from this poll then there's no doubt it'll be ahead. Well, majority of people who post here are X-Men fans...

I think it's reasonable to say that fans who post online are more likely to try new series than those who don't...

You should check out Venom VS. Carnage if you haven't already. It's an ok read but the ending was kinda blah.
