This is an excellent mini-series. It is great to see Kitty, Rachel, and Wolverine all work together. It has some wonderful character moments for Katherine Pryde.

And the Shadow King is always a nasty villain!!

Small Detail:This whole story was originally going to be an Excalibur Special Edition. But during production, Chris Claremont left Marvel and the story sat in limbo for many years. Once CC returned to Marvel, it finally was finished with original artist Rick Leonardi and saw print in 1999.

I would highly recommend it for a fun read. :read:

Yeas, it's enjoyable and accessible. I don't know the exact chronological point, but Excalibur doesn't believe the X-Men to be dead anymore, Alysande isn't dead yet but Rachel and Kitty don't seem to be the best friends yet.

This is the story where Kitty and Rachel save the Queen, as mentioned in recent issues of Uncanny X-Men.

Cool, thanks. I believe I can get it cheap, so I'll give it a go.

I gave 'er a go. Not bad. I do enjoy stories that focus on Kitty... But nothing awe inspiring. I got my moneys worth at the discount price.
