March features Etrigan the Demon bringing blood to Gotham City, counting down to the next big DC events, a dark twisted bunny who will make you laugh and cry, a spotlight on the G.I. Joe universe's ninja contingent, a look into Lex Luthor's perspective, a colourful take on the legendary Frankenstein's monster, homecoming time for Mary Jane, magic and technology mingling in a new otherworld, the Image Universe's superheroes making a pact, Robocop taking on a rebellion, the first two Seven Soldiers, a renegade Jedi Knight causing havoc for the Republic, Ultimate Iron Man going solo, the second book of the mysterious Ultimate Universe trilogy, Wolverine facing ninjas and zombies, a return to an alternate X-Men dimension, and the second book of a possible end for the X-Men.
What will you be checking out?

Wow... I'm not buying any of that. After the last poll I thought there'd be at least SOMETHING here I want to get, but not a one.

Awww Joel no DC countdown? or Seven Soldiers? The #0 issue was good.

I'm quite confident in stating that Fillerbunny will be the greatest comic book ever. It will redefine graphic literature as we know it, garner glowing reviews from the mainstream media and win both a Pulitzer Prize and a Nobel Prize. If William Shakespeare and Leonardo Da Vinci teamed up to create a comic book, they would be hard pressed to equal the greatness that is Fillerbunny.

I'm going with DC Countdown, followed by X-Men: The End Book Two: Heroes & Martyrs #1.

DC Countdown is keeping me away from DC right now. Between the JLU cartoon and these anniversary lists, I'm really interested in reading some DC... but not in the middle of a big old continuity-heavy retooling event. For a DC newbie, figuring out what's what and who's who will be hard enough without trying to do it in the middle of a Crisis-lite. When Countdown is over, assuming my interest remains, I'll be checking some things out.
Seven Soldiers I'm not really interested in either. I don't know any of the characters being reimagined except Zatanna, and nothing about the concepts as I understand them make me really care. Plus I like Grant Morrison when he's either not writing superheroes (We3) or writing something that skirts the line of superheroes (Invisibles), but I really dislike his straight superhero work (New X-Men, Seaguy).

Confession time... I hate Fillerbunny. I love Vasquez, but I hate Fillerbunny. I picked up the two Fillerbunny specials at 50% off, and I still consider it one of the largest wastes of money I've ever spent on comics.

Lex Luthor: Man of Steel and the Seven Soldiers stuff for me. Might pick up Countdown, what with it only costing one dollar and everything...

Countdown-Solely because it's 80 pages for a buck.
Lex Luthor: Man of Steel-Fully painted, Azzarello writing one of the best villains ever, hell yeah.
Otherworld, I'll at least try it.
Not on list:
Armor X

I shouldn't be, but I am picking up X-Men the end book 2 simply because I can't resist.
The AOA mini looks interesting, but my wallet's gonna have to say no.
Also can't wait for Gah-lak-tus.....some of you know what I'm talking about!! :)

The new Legion of Super Heroes book is quite new-reader friendly, and I say that as someone who's read about three issues of the prior series over the past 15 years. Since it's set in the future, it ought to be free of any Countdown/Crisis crossovers.

Well, it's certainly not his best work, and I'd really rather see a new and original book from him.
But I still find Filler Bunny to be deleriously hilarious, with the first one ranking among the funniest things I've ever read. I mean, if you can't laugh at a cutte little bunny with explosive vomitting and diarrhea, I'm not sure what you can laugh at.

Gonna pick up DC Countdown, it's cheap enough and I'd buy it for the Alex Ross cover alone at that price
Other than that, I may pick up Ultimate Iron Man #1, but not really that interested in the rest.

I'm picking up all of the X-Men:AoAs, X-Men:The End, and Ultimate Secret. I have high expectation of Ult. Cap. Marvel, so he'd better deliver!

I voted for Countdown, Fillerbunny, the two Seven Soldiers books, and Ult. Iron Man. It sounds like a good time to try Fillerbunny. I might try Otherworld but might wait since it's so long.

Countdown, for sure. even if i wasn't reading so many DC books right now, an 80 page book for one dollar written and drawn by some of the best in the industry? c'mon, you're not going to get a better deal than that! Also picking up Otherworld (PJ is a god), Seven Soldiers (GM is a god) and Lex Luthor: Man of Steel (Azz is a god). looks like the only Marvel thing i'm picking up is Ultimate Secret (Ellis is...okay, you get the picture). still undecided on X-Men: The End. that first mini series was awful, but the last issue was pretty good which gives me some hope. i will be avoiding all the Age of Apocalypse stuff like the plague, as well as Ultimate Iron Man (the first Ultimate book since Ultimate Adventures that i've passed on...just don't like the writer)

At first I was kinda interested in the AoA stories, but I think I'm gonna just stick with the X-Men: The End issue.

Oh yeah, and Sea of Red as well...
How can you go wrong with unofficial Watchmen spin-offs?
Ok, probably best not to answer that...

I shouldn't be, but I am picking up X-Men the end book 2 simply because I can't resist.
Yeah, me too. I just want to wait for the Hardcover for the whole set, but I know I won't.
Also can't wait for Gah-lak-tus.....some of you know what I'm talking about!! :)
I predicted from issue #1 of Ultimate Nightmare that "Gah-lak-tus" was the Being that destroyed all those people. Although, I thought the Vision was going to be the Silver Surfer.
I think Vision pronounced Galactus as "Gah-lak-tus" because his speech synthesizer was still being self-repaired.
My choices were:
X-Men: The End
Ultimate Secret
Ultimate Iron Man (at least for a couple issues)
DC Countdown (Hey! You can't beat a $1)

I'll get Blood of the Demon and Lex Luthor: Man of Steel.
I love Etrigan and it's written and drawn by John Byrne. How can you resist?
As for Lex, the title was enough to grab me. Then I saw the art. I have to get it.

Of course, I'm getting Seven Soldiers (support Operation: GROSS). Also, DC Countdown. 80-page comic with a sweet Alex Ross cover for only a dollar? Oh hell yeah. Oh, and I'm getting X-Men: The End and Age of Apocalypse. I'm so ashamed.

does it worry anyone else for the state of this industry that two parts of a rehash of an X-Men story from a decade ago and the first issue in the second of three series chronicling "the end" of the X-Men, particularly when the first series wasn't all that good, are all out doing an 80 page self contained story from DC that only costs a dollar and has some of the top talents in the industry working on it?
or should i just curl up into a ball until i'm jaded enough to accept such things?
