From the town of New Venice, in a post-utopian world, Seaguy wanted to be a hero like Doc Hero and the late Teknostrich. He hoped that by becoming one, the woman warrior She-Beard would notice him, and they would then be a couple. Normally by his side was the flying, talking fish known as Chubby Da Choona. As a pastime, Seaguy would play chess with Gondolier, his world's incarnation of Death.
In his quest to become a hero, Seaguy started to investigate the mystery of the heiroglyphic meteorites coming from the moon. He later took Chubby to a Mickey Eye amusement park and there, while trying a new drink called Xoo, he vomited up a sentient creature of the same name. Seaguy and Chubby tried to help Xoo find his home and were on the run from the I-Police, who wanted Xoo for themselves. They lost the I-Police at Easter Island and went to the Xoo Industries factory out at sea. Seaguy and the others were captured by the securty there, but he and Chubby escaped after Xoo grew to an enormous size and went on a rampage. The duo then explored Atlantis, where Chubby was attacked by the lost city's mechanical wasps. Seaguy and Chubby managed to get away, but ended up being lost at sea.
While adrift, Chubby died from the wasps' stings, and Seaguy was taken to the moon by soldiers belonging to the pharaoh Aten-Hut. At the moon, Seaguy learned that it was a half constructed tomb and found the I-Police there making it into a new Mickey Eye theme park. Seaguy tried to stop the I-Police, but was captured in the effort and they had his mind altered. Eventually released, Seaguy has no recollection of the recent events, or of his best friend Chubby. He continues on with his life with his new friend, a parrot named Lucky El Loro.
