Formerly a member of Black Air, Pete Wisdom joined the mutant team Excalibur in the 1990's. Around the time the Sentinels started to control the mutant population, Wisdom felt a personal loss when Kitty Pryde married Colossus and returned to the United State to fight the Sentinels. Also during the rise of the Sentinels, and Black Air's takeover of Great Britain, Wisdom lost the use of his legs and had to be put in a wheelchair. Now in command of Excalibur, Wisdom is assisted in his work by fellow mutant Karma.
In the year 2013, with the help of RCX Guerillas, Pete Wisdom discovered the location of Douglock, a member of Excalibur who was missing for years. Wisdom found him in the Blackwall, Black Air's headquarters in London. He sent Excalibur to bring back Douglock, not knowing at the time they were heading into a trap.
