Around the year 2013, Karma was a member of Excalibur and served as an aide to the team's leader, Pete Wisdom. She never reveals what she lost during the Sentinels' rise to power, and prefers to be called Karma, and not by her real name, Xian Coy Manh.
Karma and Wisdom found the whereabouts of their missing teammate Douglock at the Black Air's headquarters, the Blackwall. Karma stayed behind with Wisdom as the rest of Excalibur went to find Douglock. However, she used her possession powers on Captain Britain, not enough to control him but to view the mission from his perspective and keep in contact with the team.
