As the Sentinels gradually took over the world, Psylocke tried to convince her lover Archangel to return with her to England. Her efforts were to no avail and she later saw Archangel burned to death by the mutant-killing machines. Psylocke later became the Hellfire Club's Red Queen, and she and the Black King Shinobi Shaw combined the New York and London Inner Circles.

Working with Baron Zemo, Psylocke and Shinobi Shaw headed the construction of the Cataclysm Engine, a machine that could cause natural disasters anywhere around the globe. Psylocke and Shaw captured the Scarlet Witch, and used her probability-altering powers to run the engine. Viewing Wolverine as a threat to their designs, Psylocke and her companion Midnight intercepted him in Moscow. Psylocke then psychically assaulted the X-Man, leaving him in an animal-like form of mind. She later fought Wolverine again, who this time had company with him. Fighting the forces of Magneto, the X-Men and the traitor Midnight, Psylocke was weakened by Leech and Jubilee's attack, then knocked unconscious by Wolverine. Captured by the X-Men, Psylocke was taken back to her brother Brian to be rehabilitated.

After her recovery, Psylocke joined Excalibur, which was now led by Pete Wisdom. Wisdom sent the team to retrieve Douglock, who was in the possession of organization Black Air. Excalibur's mission for Douglock ended in failure, and Psylocke's final fate remains unrevealed.
