I like how the covers are all different styles.

Who's the girl on MK Spidey's cover? Is she a new member of Astonishing?

Great covers, though.

That NXM cover is.... interesting.

Jean (?) looks great on the XM:TE cover.

Shola and Callisto in Excalibur? Well there goes that surprise...

Excelent covers for UXM.

Ultimate Gambit needs to stop that man-perm.

Looks like the Ultimate Spidey cover confirms that Gwen is Carnage.

:sigh: Nocturne under Austen. :sigh:

On the other hand, that is a stunningly gorgeous Phoenix cover by Greg Land (X-Men: The End)... Wow. Very very wow.

Exiles looks to be picking up steam gradually, which is cool, and it's unfortunate Marvel likes to spoil surprises in Excalibur and the like. Ah well. I'm still there. Powerless looks pretty interesting too.

The Marvel Knights 2099 seems very...weird to me for some reason. I don't know. Maybe it'll work.

OK, nobodie loves them some Greg Land artwork like I loves me some Greg Land artwork, but how many covers can you make the man draw in one month?

a decision that will radically change the Fantastic Four for some time to come?

:D They know better than to say 'changed forever' now, do they?

And does anyone know if there is still going to be a separate 'director's cut' version of the Ultimates HC, as was rumored a while back?

Salvador's X-Men cover is awesome, and the X-Men roster has all 3 of my fave X- Characters(Wolverine, Havok, and Juggernaut), so I do not care who writes the book as long as these 3 guys are on the team. I am bumed out by the Excalibur roster so far, but I am a huge Magneto fan, so I will keep reading it because of Mags. Uncanny X-Men with Coipel's art twice in one Month= Awesome. I am a huge fan of the X-Force characters, but it is hard for me to get excited about the book because of Liefeld's art. Andy Kubert is back drawing the X-Men all be it an Ultimate title, so welcome back Andy. And I am sad to see McNiven leave Marvel Knight's 4 title, for the NEW Ultimate Captain America comic this winter. McNiven was the best FF artist since Pacheco. I wish McNiven could have been moved over to X-Force in place of Liefeld, so the X-Force comic would sell top 10 like numbers, and be an ongoing series.

Thor: Son of Asgard was recently announced as being an ongoing now, but no word yet on X-Force. I'm assuming from the way it's being solicited that it's an ongoing.

Those are some awesome covers.

I still find the whole Xorn/Magneto characters as apparently separate characters from Xorn/Magneto to be highly annoying. Oh well I guess they are on teams anyways.

Collisto and Shola in Excalibur is interesting. The X-Men have way too many telekinetics though when Jean was a plenty.

The big question is- is that Jean Grey/Phoenix on the X-Men The End cover really Jean Grey or her derivative, Rachel Grey?

You would think that it would be Jean since she only has temporary deaths, and she is the Phoenix of the 616 reality apparently, and is the main (or among them) Phoenix of all as a White Phoenix of the Crown. With Jean's phoenix mutation she shouldn't be able to be separated from it and in light of Jean's position it wouldn't make any sense to have Rachel as a Phoenix for this reality.

But knowing Marvel it is probably Rachel. Her hair is short and her mid section is showing like her current Marvel Girl outfit.

Hopefully it is the real Jean though. Her colors are usually green and gold.

I love the cover for X-Men, but seriously Gambit's been the whipping boy for the X-titles since the Invasion saga in X-Treme:mad: Chill out already, find someone new! And don't get me wrong, I love the X-MEN, but why does EVERY member have to their own title:? At least give titles to those whom would be able to carry one, Sage anyone? Don't get me wrong though, I'll be the first to pick the new titles, but my paycheck will be crying :(

far out, it looks as though every marvel comic, plus more, that have appeared in the last fourty years have some sort of revamping this month, except for another installment of the Earth X saga which would actually sell better than most of these new titles...

i hope the avengers disassembled crossover will have a TPB covering the whole thing...

no new Thunderbolts series yet?

Wow, there were quite a few spoilers in this one...although I really like it.

So I'll be getting pretty much all the X-related titles, much to the dismay of my wallet. I don't know about Wolverine: The End...i thought all the "Stuff on Sale This Week" had it as out of 5 issues. I laugh every time I see that NYX solicitation that has been used for about half a year. I really need to start cutting some of the spending on these titles. I had made up my mind to drop Emma Frost and not pick up District X, but now I don't know. I don't think I can resist Rogue, Gambit, and Nightcrawler (I can probably resist Jubilee), and the MadroX solicitation looks pretty neat. Without question I am getting X-Men: The End and X-Force (which now may be an ongoing?). *Sigh*. People only need one kidney, right?

These are some of the best covers Ive seen in years. Greg Lands are espeacially gorgeous (X-Men: The End, that Rachel? Cool outfit)!

For Excalibur looks like Magneto *is* alive after all? Whatever. No Warren, though.....I wonder where hes going??? Cool cover anyways. Very intrigued by these new characters.

So I suppose Xorns the new team member for X-Men? Ive always liked Xorn. If Chuck can pull it off Im game. Ill give it a chance.

my...GOD! Greg Land needs an exhibition at the finest art museums in the world...or at the very least a collection of these amazing covers. everytime i see his work, it just absolutely takes my breath away...

i'm being extremely wary of the slew of solo titles in the X-Men universe (yeah, way to not create another glut there guys!)...but i'm absolutely getting Nightcrawler. It just looks and sounds so awesome. maybe Marvel can FINALLY get it right and have a Vertigo worthy horror title. ;)

Two things stand out for me in these solicits. The first is Richard Morgan on Black Widow. Although I would not normally be interested in Black Widow, Richard Morgan is an incredible writer and if he can write comics half as well as he writes novels then this should be one of the best comics out there.

The second is the cast for Excalibur. This cast looks really interesting. I know that many people are annoyed about a certain individual not being dead, but if we accept that he is not dead, then three major and experienced mutant leaders are on Genosha. Each of the three has a slightly different vision for the future of mutantkind and it will be interesting to see how they play off each other. This cast may have the most potential of any current X-book. We will have to see if this potential can be actualized.

Cripes! Madrox by Peter David w/ Strong Guy.... I didnt even see that. Oh great, I started limiting myself to X-Men only and dropped other Marvel books for financial reasons. But with all these new books plus the 2 flagships coming out twice a month. Well....Im back to square one. *sigh* :wall:

I'm unhappy, too. I see more books that look interesting than I can afford to buy.

At least I get to ignore the classic reprints because I have the originals.

I do wish the people who write these solicitations would be more careful about not giving away plot points.

Ugh, my number of comics just skyrocketed again this month.....Looking forward to all the Marvel Knights stuff this month especially the Elektra and Bullseye mini's. Gambit is an ongoing now? I thought it was a mini? So Jubilee, Rogue, Gambit, Nightcrawler, Wolverine, Emma Frost all have solo books now. I remember a time when X Man, X Force and Generation X were cancelled as the X Men universe was "too crowded". I guess that idea went out the window eh?

Sal's & Liquid!'s X-Men and Elektra covers are l-o-v-e-l-y! The End, Rogue, Excalibur and Uncanny (the one with Storm, I can't stand Wolverine solo covers anymore, I had enough!) ones look great, too!

Big Time! its ridiculous. how many solo titles are there now!? i think ill ignore Wolverine, Emma Frost (Yawn), Mystique, Gambit, Rogue, Jubilee (da fug?) and Nightcrawler and just pick up Madrox. you know at least that this will be a limited run.

I think people, especially the younger ones feel the need to buy all th
