The first was steel dagger with a 6-inch blade and the second was a Webley .455 caliber pistol. At least for several months, he possessed the power to discharge bolts of electricity form his hands. The limits on this power are unknown.

In our reality, Brian Falsworth was the son of Lord Montgomery Falsworth, the original Union Jack. Brian had been a prisoner of the Nazis in Hamburg, Germany in the early days of World War II when he met German biochemist Eric Schmitt, a fellow prisoner. Schmitt had concocted a variant of the Super Soldier formula and wished for Falsworth to prevent it from falling into Nazi hands. Falsworth drank it and was immediately physically enhanced. Acquiring a costume, he went into action as a behind the lines Nazi fighter by the name of the Destroyer. When his sister Jacqueline, who had become the superhumanly powered Spitfire, had been captured along with her fellow Invaders by Hitler in Berlin, Falsworth led the rescue. At his father's request, he exchanged his Destroyer garb for that of Union Jack. Following the successful rescue of the Invaders, Union Jack became a member of the group. He temporarily left their ranks when they moved their operations to America, but remained active through the end of the war. Falsworth died in an automobile accident.
