Group Affiliation: Avengers
Height: 6'
Weight: 185 lbs.
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Blonde
Powers: Henry Pym possesses the power to reduce himself to approximately one-half inch in height or grow to gigantic height through the rapid acquisition of bodily mass, presumably from an extradimensional source, while giving him superhuman strength. Initially, Pym was only able to do so by means of the subatomic particles known as Pym Particles, but can now do so at spontaneously and at will.
In our reality, after an alien being from the planet Kosmos killed the scientist Vernon van Dyne, Pym revealed his secret identity of Ant-Man to van Dyne's daughter Janet who wished to avenge his death. Pym taught Janet how to use the Pym Particle and, through bioengineering, gave her the ability grow insect-like wings when she shrunk herself to insect size. As the Wasp, Janet van Dyne assisted the Pym in finding and defeating the murderous Kosmosian. Pym and van Dyne gradually fell in love, became crime-fighting partners in their costumed identities, and were two of the founding members of the Avengers where he would served under the multiple guises of Ant Man, Yellow Jacket, Giant Man, and eventually Goliath.

Pym was one of many unwilling participants in the Skrull's Games up until their evacuation of Earth because of the arrival of Terrax. While the newly emancipated gladiators were getting their first taste of freedom, they found Terrax terrorizing their people and launched an attack the Herald of Galactus. Because we do not see Henry after this, it is possible that he was slain.

Appearances: Exiles #20-22, 34
The leader of the Avengers, Earth's mightiest and only super heroes on a world overrun with Vi-Locks. Pym was responsible for creating medication that kept the Warlock Virus from spreading in a victims body. However, he was still unable to find a cure or reversal for the Vi-Lock disease. It was believed that Pym would be able to create a vaccine using a sample strain of the original virus from Cypher and plans were made to retrieve his body from the Mainframe. After Forge destroyed Cypher's body, Pym was forced to pull his trump card, a deadly, nuclear last resort that would result in the destruction of Earth that would concurrently end the Vi-Lock's reign. However, thanks to the efforts of Morph and Rachel Summers who were able to summon the Asgardians, the kamikazee plan was narrowly averted after its enactment, and Pym was able to construct a vaccine using blood from the visiting Aesir.
