First Appearance: Exiles #23
Last Appearance: Exiles #45
Group Affiliation: Weapon X
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 150 lbs.
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Black
Powers: The Angel is a mutant with wings that span 16 feet from tip to tip. His entire anatomy is adapted for flight: His bones are hollow, his body is virtually devoid of fat, he possesses greater proportionate muscle strength than normal, his eyes can withstand high-speed winds, and his respiratory system allows him to extract oxygen from air at extreme altitudes.
When the time displaced Iron Man who was a member of the reality-hopping adventurers called Weapon X was lost to the team, he was replaced by the Angel. Not much is known about this Worthington before Weapon X visited a dimension where the entire planet was ruled by another, different version Iron Man other than he was a gun-toting assassin. In our reality, the Angel began his heroic career as the solo Avenging Angel and used a gun, but this firearm's munition was only meant to stun.
In this dimension, Weapon X was told to assist Stark in his plan for planetary conquest by aiding his efforts to capture the Inhumans. Although the combined forces of Stark and Weapon X were able to successfully storm and overwhelm Attilan, the Inhumans chose to sacrifice themselves rather than become enslaved and experimented on by Iron Man. However, Weapon X was able to move on to their next reality as they were never meant to defeat the Inhumans, only to set into motion the later assassination of Stark by Susan Richards, Queen of the Inhumans. Sometime after this, Angel became the only member of Weapon X who returned to their home.

Appearances: Exiles #2-4
The Angel was one of the X-Men who defended Jean Grey in the Trial of Phoenix. After the Dark Phoenix manifested itself, a recuperating Wolverine regained consciousness to join the Trial when it was evident that Jean was no longer in control and the Phoenix needed to be stopped. Wolverine called for Angel to pick him up and gain as much height as possible while the Exiles tried their best to distract Phoenix. When they reached their peak, Angel dove with Wolverine straight for Phoenix, but she saw their attack coming and countered. Luckily, Blink teleported the two X-Men behind Phoenix and Wolverine stabbed her in the back. Her death resulted in a fiery backlash that killed Worthington.
