some excellent profile artwork was featured in this, cementing AoA as one of my all time favourite arcs.

Where can i find previous incarnations or appearances of Holocaust? was he ever in the regular marvel universe before AOA?

Prior to the AoA, Holocaust was featured in a profile in the one-shot <i>Stryfe's Strike File #1</i>. And as for his appearances, here's his character bio, which lists them to date.

Though considering that Stryfe was a time traveller and the wording of the entry, it's pretty safe to say that Stryfe was analyzing a future contender of the X-Men that had not yet appeared until AFTER the Age of Apocalypse.

oh ok maybe i was thinking of the strike file book. I know it was one of them that was talking about holocaust and i couldnt find anything on him

I loved the AoA arc is was proablly the best x-men arc of the nineties.

I'd agree that it was the best overall arc of the nineties... not that it had much competition. :/
