Plot: Tells the origin story of Ben Reilly, Spider-Man’s clone.

Part 1 - Web of Spider-Man #117 - The Jackal grows a Spider-Man clone, but it escapes from his lab.
Part 2 - Amazing Spider-Man (1st series) #394 - The Jackal tracks down and recaptures his Spider-Man clone.
Part 3 - Spider-Man (1st series) #51 - The Jackal “programs” the clone to believe he is the real Spider-Man. Later the Jackal knocks him unconscious, and he awakens beside the real Spider-Man.
Part 4 - Spectacular Spider-Man (1st series) #217 - The Spider-Men clash and the Jackal dies. Later the Spider-clone realizes he is not the original and disappears into the night.
