Cable and the team attempt to take down the MLF. Before the end of the battle Stryfe has Zero teleport the MLF to safety while he sets his base to self-destruct. Back at the X-Force base Cable gives Cannonball a brief introduction of his history with the MLF. Meanwhile, in Manhattan Black Tom Cassidy holds Sunspot and Gideon hostage. In another part of the world G.W. Bridge is hot on Cable’s trail and decides to bring in Weapon X.

Outside the wrecked World Trade Tower, X-Force lead by Spider-Man does their best to take down the Juggernaut. Meanwhile inside the wrecked tower Cable has a showdown with Black Tom. Cable shows no mercy and shoots Black Tom three times and leaves him for dead. Back outside, before X-Force and Juggernaut finish their battle Deadpool, with Black Tom’s body, intervenes and teleports the three of them away.

Later, Cyclops and Jean attempt to escape the clutches of Stryfe.

On the Graymalkin, X-Force takes on War Machine and destroys half the ship in the process. Meanwhile, back at X-Force HQ, Boomer, Syrin & Warpath are kidnapped by the external Saul. Back on the Graymalkin, just before it explodes, Cannonball and Sunspot attempt to jettison as much as possible to preserve Cable’s legacy.

Villain: Magneto I, Exodus

Cable returns to his X-Force and explains to them the importance of the team. Later an unknown mutant known as Exodus attacks and teleports most of the team including Rusty and Skids to Avalon. Meanwhile, Cable follows his students and finds that Avalon is the Graymalkin. Cable makes his students to teleport to safety while he attempts to destroy the Graymalkin. Magneto catches him and destroys Cable’s metal half, but before Magneto can finish him off Cable bodyslides to X-Force HQ.
