Whedon, Claremont, Austen, DeFilippis, Weir, Hine, Bedard, Tieri, and more... they're all part of X-Men Reload, but which of the titles are you most anxious to read?

I'm probably going to buy all of them, though, to try them all out. Am I alone here?

Nope, you're not alone... I'm curious about all of them too.

Definatly Exiles. Exiles is the only must have IMO.

That is until I find out which team has Cannonball.

I'm willing to give Astonishing a try

I'm Looking forward to having Claremont back on Uncanny hopefully he has a few more great sagas left in him.

Now that Igor is off of it, I may give Excalibur a try, I love Chuck as a character and I want to see where Claremont is going with this

Weapon X is consistently my favorite X-Book, and May will be no different.

Uncanny X-men
Excalibur
New X-Men: Academy X
X-men (Maybe, if the cast is good and Austen stories return to the kind he wrote with Hope up until Pre Dominant Speices)

I can't wait for Reload. I'm so happy Claremont will be writing two comics.

I'm very curious about the four Ongoings: X-Men, Uncanny, Astonishing, and Excalibur, as well as Weapon X (as usual). I'm also pretty intrigued about District X. New X-Men Academy i can do without, same with Mystique and Emma Frost...

I've been a cassaday fan since I met the man in 1998. If you guys want to see cassaday on x-men, he did an x-men/alpha flight miniseries back in 1998 with Ben Raab [ugh]. Good art.

Astonishing
Uncanny
X-Men (unless Austen's stories improve, probably on an issue-to-issue basis)
New X-Men: Academy X (depends on how big of a role Cyclops has)
Excalibur
Ultimate

Kevin Sutton
Feb 26, 2004, 02:24 am
I'm only getting Ultimate X-men, Astonishing, and possibly looking at Academy X. I guess I'm looking forward to Astonishing most since it truly is going to be the core X-book and probably define the line for a few years.

Looking forward to X-Men the most after that I would have to say whichever book has Cannonball in it, I hope he is in Uncanny or Excalibur because I think Claremont is really good with him. But Austen's X-Men is what I am looking forward to the most.

I voted for Astonishing because of Cassaday's art alone. I'll try out the others though.

Astonishing, Uncanny, Weapon X and Academy X (still prefer it as 'New Mutants though...) I like the original Excalibur too much to get too thrilled about the new one just yet

Anyone heard anymore about who's on what team, aside from the image over at Previews?

Or whatever happened to Liefield's proposed X-Force relaunch?

The ones I'm most looking forward to? Well, that's got to be Astonishing X-Men, Excalibur, New X-Men: Academy X, OHOTMU: X-Men 2004, Ultimate X-Men, and Uncanny X-Men, but I'm looking forward to reading Mystique, and X-Men.

X-Men and Uncanny so far but I also have great interest in Astonishing and Excalibur, it's all going to depend which books get here to Panama.

To be honest, I'll probably only pick up Astonishing X-Men, and keep buying Mystique and Ultimate X-Men. This whole Reload business doesn't have me all at that excited, but I voted for Astonishing.

I am very intresting to see what Whedon is gonna cook up for the X-Men in Astonishing. Looking forward to Claremont back on Uncanny and on Excalibur. I am already liking New X-Men Acadamy X just by the costumes alone. Tho I love Mystique i am not looking forward to Vaughn leaving. I am glad he is gonna be doing Ultimate. And I am so scared of who is gonna be written by Austen. Please god don't let him get Rogue please!!!!!!

I'm mostly a character-follower. I'll check out Astonishing because it has Kitty (and I'm curious how Whedon will do), and the new New X-Men because I've grown quite attatched to the new New Mutants kids. I'm keeping my eye on Excalibur, but I'm not sure yet, it depends who's in it besides Charlie. Same goes for Uncanny and X-Men. I love Mystique, so I'll keep reading that (it's been excellent so far).

If by any chance a certain green-eyed starchild makes a reappearance, I'll read whatever book she's in. Same likely goes for her "dead" mum.

Cannonball fans unite!! :p I'm definitely holding out on which core book to get until I find out where Sammy is. That goes for Rogue and Gambit too.

As for the others -- District X, Emma Frost, Exiles (!!), New X-Men: Academy X, Ultimate X-Men, and Weapon X. That hasn't really changed, just the addition of DX and NM changing to NXM: AX. *shrugs* I'm unoriginal like that. Adios.

You need a None choice...because to be perfectly honest I'm not looking forward to a single damn one of them! Characters I like are stuck with characters I hate...a writer I was really looking forward to reading has a team I don't give a rat's pahtoot about...and the new titles don't interest me at all...

I must be growing up...

While I am looking foward to Astonishing and the Exiles, I may have to kinda agree with you. Most of the Reload writers are already doing X-books now; they've just been juggled around to each others books. There's hype for you huh? Whedon, Hine and Bedard are the only new writers, and Bedard is the only one I'm sure is really, really good. Still, I have some hope. You should too :D

Astonishing, Uncanny, Excalibur, New, and X-Men, in that order. Also planning to try District X.

Ooooh a close one for me!

I had to go with Exiles, because Tony Bedard is so fantastic on Negation and Route 666, and he is bringing me over to try a title I've never even picked up. If Exiles turns out to be half as good as Negation, it'll have a ton of fans!

Close second is Nunzio and Christina on New X-Men: Academy X. I already know they are great writers, and they are about to get infused with a ton more readers now. The concept and characters are strong, so I am excited to see where it goes, because it sounds great!

I will check out Astonishing #1, I will continue to collect X-Men and Uncanny monthly, and if I hear who is doing art for Excalibur, I may pick up that #1 as well.

Voted for Weapon-X because it has a writer and a penciler I like, but I'd easily vote for "None" if it was an option. Most titles look very boring or downright bad.

I'm looking forward to Astonishing, and I'm curious about Excalibur, Uncanny, New, Exiles, and even Austen's adjectiveless (mostly just to find out about the line-up, direction, and Larroca's redesigns).

I (like most people according to this poll anyway) am most interested in Astonishing X-Men, the new flagship title. Also looking forward to Uncanny X-Men and X-Men, and am going to try out Excalibur and New X-Men: Academy X as well as Ultimate X-Men. I'm sure everyone's getting a copy of the official handbook as well, can't wait for some updated character bios and sketches. Should be a good month, a lot more excited now than before although the team rosters would be good to know, they released that information 3 years a go the last time they reloaded.

Well I'm looking forward to New X-Men: Academy X the most, but Astonishing X-Men, Uncanny X-Men, and Excalibur are all up there as well.

But, come Reload I'll be picking up them all except District X, Mystique, and X-Men.

Looking forward to Astonishing X-Men and Excalibur. Uncanny looks fine and I give Austen one chance on X-Men. New X-Men: Academy X sounds fine also together with Weapon X, Exiles and District X.

I really am looking forward to Astonishing and Excalibur the most but New X-Men: Academy looks pretty cool to. Though in the end I might just endup droping all X titles because nothing is going to be able to top Grants run, and I will be lucky if the x books stay in the same style, and that is what I am looking for, the the childhood x-men any more.

Gotta say the Handbook - simply because it is the only one that I haven't had a look at yet. Before I picked the titles up the one that I was most looking forward to was New X-Men, and now I also love X-Men because of the cast and the art work.
