Following <a href="http://www.comixfan.com/xfan/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=25402">last week's</a> exposé into the pitfalls of 'super-continuity', we now look into the lovelife of our favorite formerly-unstoppable-but-now-not-so-much newest team-member of the X-Men.
This time, we're joined by scripting alumnus Zach Kinkead. Also, please take a second out of your day and, if you enjoy the strip, vote for it daily over at The buzzComix Top 100 (http://www.buzzcomix.net/in.php?ID=MabusRex)! Vote and see a new ending to the 'Tech Support' strip every week!
Now, enjoy as The Uncanny X-Sprites @ ComiX-Fan continues!

Good, though, it doesn't seem funny to me. Maybe it's because I'm pooped out for the day.

It's official. Juggy now has to stay with the X-men because Ryan had to go and improve his Sprite. Great job, though, bud.

Ryan's been on a bit of hiatus due to a recent move. But he'll be back with much funniness soon enough.
(we've been stockpiling scripts for him backstage...tee hee...:D )

They'd probably need to date Frost Giants when they grew up. Betcha "Unka Chucky" would get stuck with the baby-sitting in the meantime.:p

Last time I heard from Ryan (about a week ago) he mentioned that it was down. Since he’s been MIA since then, I’m assuming that he’s had trouble getting it back up and running.

I wonder if he ran into trouble with Marvel, regarding likeness rights.

I’m guessing that if Marvel had a problem with the strip then they would have said something a while ago. It isn’t like they could have been oblivious to something like the X-Spites up until just now when it’s displayed so prominently at a site visited by a good number of their employees.

Satire is 100% legal copyright wise, Marvel didn't make the sprites so its not like UXS is stealing images directly from them.
It looks to me like the domain fell unregistered, otherwise someone would've put up a note saying that Marvel dicked them out of a website.
Anyway, if Marvel had a problem with copyright infringement, you'd see a whole lot of other sites on the net down as well. Fansites aren't exactly 100% legal, as most use images directly from the comics without permission for reprint.
