Previously:

Tvarus, a member of the long-lived, near-immortal race known as Eldritch, has often felt sympathy for the younger human race. While his younger brother Thorm was leading Eldritch hunting parties in killing humans, Tvarus found forbidden desire. Amidst a harrowing battle between warrior knights and the otherworldly Eldritch, a child was secretly conceived by Tvarus and a human woman named Marion.

Now:

Tvarus inherited the throne of the Eldritch and no longer sanctioned hunting parties. Often, he would visit the village of Novgorod, the site of his affair with Marion. On one such visit, he happened upon the bodies of Marion and his daughter Hope, who had been drowned by the villagers. Tvarus returned Hope from the beyond, newly reborn as Lady Death. Unaware that his resurrection succeeded, he returned to Aglarond, the realm of the Eldritch, until word spread of a half-human, half-Eldritch woman found in an abandoned church on the outskirts of Novgorod. Tvarus traveled to Earth and seeing his daughter alive, gifted her with a dagger. After dodging his wife Obsidia's questioning, Tvarus learned of Hope's capture by humans. He appeared before her, bearing Hope's weapons. Tvarus rescued Hope and her human companion, Wolf, from death at the hands of Archbishop Krakhauer’s knights. His return to Aglarond was met by accusations of treason from Obsidia and Thorm. Dethroned, Travus was sentenced to the Welf Holes, prisons where time passes fast, slow or sideways.
