Nanny is an artificial construct created by Magneto. Her purposes was care for and protect Charles Lensherr, the son of Magneto and Rogue. Rogue has noted that Nanny has spent more time with Charles than his own parents. When Nanny sensed Apocalypse coming, she wrapped Charle in a cocoon and took him to the Morlock Tunnels to hide. They were intercepted by the Vanisher, but Nanny revealed its own weapons and blasted the Vanisher. Shortly after Nanny and Charles came across the X-Ternals Jubilee and Guido Carosella. Taking them for allies, Nanny was going to bring them back to the Mansion. But then Guido showed his allegiance to Apocalypse and destroyed Nanny.
