Major Enemies: All enemies of Apocalypse

The Madri is a sect of mutants who have based their religion around Apocalypse. Their main Tabernacle is located in Quebec City where they would do daily sermons of their lord's history. These people have been known for their devotion to Apocalypse, and are more fierce in battle than the Infinites. Some time ago in one of their stations, the Madri had Exodus as a prisoner and would torture him. Exodus was rescued from the Madri by Magneto.

One group of Madri, made up of the clones of Jamie Madrox tried to stop Magneto and the X-Ternals. The X-Ternals were able to defeat them. Another team of Madri attacked the Ghost Dance, which was runned by Native Americans to be the starting point to sancturary in Avalon. Despite the efforts of the Ghost Dance to fight them off, the Madri slaughtered them.

The Cardinal Madri was with Abyss' Brotherhood when they intercepted the X-Men. When the Brotherhood failed in defeating the X-Men, Abyss punished and executed the Cardinal Madri for this.

When Apocalypse defeated Magnto and Bishop, Bishop was taken to the Tabernacle in Quebec City to be interrogated. The Madri was about to sacrifice Bishop, but Storm arrived to save him. Most of the Madri who went after them were the duplicates of Jamie Madrox. They were about to overwhelm them until the original Madrox commited suicide and stopped the clones where they stood. Storm and Bishop were able to escape from the Madri, and with Quicksilver, they left the Madri temple in ruins.

Actually, all of the Madri are duplicates of Jamie Madrox (hence the "Madri" name). Madrox was altered by Sinister and the Beast so he could be duplicated beyond the nataral limits of his power. After Amazing X-Men #4, there are no more appereances of the Madri, 'cause all of them are shut down.

A majority of them were Madrox's though there were others seen throughout the AoA who looked nothing like Madrox.

What "others"? Plus, all of the Madri being dupes of Madrox fits better with Apocalypse changing the Madri to "Forgotten" just because one of them infiltrated into his sanctum.
