Karma was an employee of Angel, who taught her about making business deals. She worked at his night club called Heaven. Karma notified Angel that Gambit was there to see him, but they didn't know that their conversation was being watched by Sebastian Shaw. Karma was later arrested by Apocalypse's authorities. She was interrogated by Rex as to the location of the X-Men's hidden base. When Rex threatened to let the Shadow King have her, Karma told them everything. Apocalypse than had her put in the body of an Inifinte. While Karma was inside the soldier, the Inifinte met with Angel as he tried to get in Apocalypse's Citadel. Angel shot the Inifinite and then noticed that he had shot Karma. Before she died, Karma told Angel that after all he taught her, she helped Apocalypse for free.
