Madison Jeffires was a member of the Brotherhood who intercepted the X-Men during the Great Sentinel Airlift. He was able to hack into the X-Men's over-ride disc for the Sentinels and controlled them for the Brotherhood's purposes. Then he and Sister Carlylse went to hide among the humans who were waiting to be evacuated. Quicksilver and Dazzler tried to stop them by Jeffires had one of the Sentinels to attack them. Jeffires and Carlylse were able to get away and were sent along with the humans to Bristol, England. At England, Jeffires' body set off the weapons detector. Jeffries turned his hands into energy weapons and he and Sister Carlylse started shooting the human refugees. Jean Grey and Weapon X were on hand to stop them. Weapon X killed Madison Jeffires by stabbing his claws through his chest.
