The unique figure, which is numbered 87 in the set of 96 (see 'UNOFFICIAL MARVEL HEROCLIX: XPLOSION CHECKLIST' (http://x-mencomics.com/xfan/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=16222)), is described as follows:

"At a mere 70 points, this quick-and-deadly combatant is a veritable hurt machine. From a distance, Running Shot and Ranged Combat Expert give {her} a perilous set of choices. Up close and personal, use Blades/Claws/Fangs to rake over your opponent. Overall, she has a good mix of abilities that should allow her to threaten any of the X-Men (or anyone else, for that matter), and make her a popular figure in the game."

For unofficial stats for the Unique Deathbird and all the other Xplosion figures, be sure to check out X-Fan's Unofficial Marvel HeroClix Visual Figure's Guide (http://x-mencomics.com/xfan/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=9680).

The Marvel HeroClix: Xplosion expansion is due for release on March 26. Pre-order it online now from X-World Comics and help support X-Fan! (http://x-worldcomics.com/yourvirtualstore/shopexd.asp?id=3348)

It looks ok, but it's too small to see what Deathbird looks like.

Well the figure looks ok, but Deathbird had wings, and to me that looks like a cape. I guess I shouldn't be too picky. Definately cool that there are more X-men villians now. Does anyone know what the actual release date is? I know March, but when???

WWWwhhhhaaattttt?!?!? Deathbird is dead?!?!? That blows chunks!!!. Though it does give her name a bit more meaning, doesn't it?

Oh yeah, the figure is nice. Kinda funky, but no moreso than any other figure in the game.

OK, so now she is part of Heroclix. Now if we could only see her in the comics again.

Gee, how did I know you'd say that. ;)

Thanks for the link to the Bio Eric. I didn't realise that she was an X-Men character, thought she was regular MU.

Well seeing as she first appeared in Ms. Marvel she was originally a "general MU" character, but her being Shi'ar always connected her to the X-verse.

At any rate, I'm anxiously anticipating the release of Xplosion here in Australia, even though I've still got a ways to go on my Clobberin' Time set!

That'll be a bit difficult considering she's dead, Jim!
