A member of the band of bio-engineered outcasts known as the Freakshow in the year 2099, Rosa Navarro Vasquez left her violent boyfriend Alexi Jaeger, a.k.a. Glitterspike, but not before she felt pregnant with Jaeger's child.
Rosa possesses the ability to radiate energy that interferes with the electro-magnetic spectrum, allowing her to jam electronic equipment.
Falling in love with the former X-Man Metalhead, who joined the Freakshow after Contagion infected him with a virus that deformed his body, Rosa was kidnapped by Glitterspike who returned seeking revenge. However, thanks to the timely return of Metalhead's metal mimetic ability and Rosa's unborn mutant child using its powers, Glitterspike was defeated.
