This new version of Jean Grey, which is numbered 95 in the set of 96, is described by WizKids as follows:

"Cheap enough to field in a 200-point force, Jean Grey as Phoenix is a flying telepath with a top move of 10. Get her across the field to those hard-to-reach heavy objects, and have her toss them around with Telekinesis. Toughness and Energy Shield/Deflection provide protection from other ranged attacks. Protect Phoenix with close-combat and other offensive pieces, and let her smash objects and warriors into each other."

The Marvel HeroClix: Xplosion expansion is due for release in March. Pre-order it online now from X-World Comics and help support X-Fan! (http://x-worldcomics.com/yourvirtualstore/shopexd.asp?id=3348)

Cool! :) Doesn't look fantastic, but the things are so small you usually don't see any of the "ugliness" they might possess unless you're looking at 'em close.

Excellent. Range 12, move 10 and TK. Looks like she'll be a more useful taxi than Rogue. Looks like 85 points I think, so she can easily be swapped with the Vet Rogue. No mind control still. No suupport either it appears. At least We've got one X woman now who doesn't need a paper bag.

Uhhh...I know this doesn't look great, but it kinda sucks. I think it has to do with the ugliness, but I doubt I'll get it.

Should be a nice piece to use in the field of battle. Can you imagine the TK tennis now though Eric? Phoenix vs Magneto, both flyers!

I like the figure and she's really powerful so she's really a must have for me at least.:)

I very much like the sculpt, and of the figures who actually have faces as opposed to masks, I think Phoenix is among the nicer ones.

Plus, since this is meant to represent only the beginning of Phoenix's power-ups, I hope that there is an implication of future figures becoming even stronger.

Hopefully it means we'll see a Dark Phoenix 'Clix in the near future!

LOL! That was funny, xgene :)

And to reply to Eric's post...I could see that. It just has to be a good looking sculpture of Jean's bad side. It better not be like the one we just saw. It is kinda ugly  Otherwise, I would possibly get it.

Hey, yeah, wouldn't that be cool? Perhaps Dark Phoenix is a Unique version in this set, non? But seeing that Jean's numbered as #95 in a #96 set, most likely not... Or the last number would be Dark Phoenix!!! :) Let's hope...

But anyways, Jean looks awesome and I hope I'll get it in one of my packs... she looks WAY better then Psylocke, at least I think so. :)

Phoenix, Mystique, Storm, Psylocke, Colossus, Ironman, Silver Sumuria, new spider-man, new daredevil, and yet another Elektra. I can not wait until the release the rest of the figures in the set. I am still waiting for a Dazzler and Havok.

Apparantly there is a Gambit in the set, so I have been told.

It'd stand to reason there'd be a gambit as this is supposed to be the X-centric set. :)

This is a really great looking figure, though dark phoenix would be awesome.
