The armored Avenger, who spans numbers 82-84 in the set of 96, is described by WizKids as follows:

"The Golden Avenger is a combat machine! He starts off with Ranged Combat Expert, Energy Explosion, Toughness, and Running Shot. Let him soak up some damage, and Tony tweaks his armor a bit and it gains close combat powers like Charge, Super Strength, and Invulnerability. Finally, on his last click, he gains a click of jury-rigging Regeneration, enabling him to go all the way back to the top of his close-combat slots, the best on his dial!"

The new DD figure, which covers numbers 61-63 in the 96 figure set, is described as follows:

"With a combat dial lavished with wall-to-wall Super Senses, Daredevil is a slippery enemy to say the least. Let's face it - your opponent simply isn't going to land every punch. Add in Leap/Climb for maneuverability and the ever-adaptable Incapacitate on attack, and Daredevil definitely gives you bang for your point-cost buck."

<a href="http://x-mencomics.com/xfan/images/games/hcxp_uelektra.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://x-mencomics.com/xfan/images/games/hcxp_uelektrat.jpg" align=right alt="Marvel HeroClix: Xplosion Unique Elektra figure"></a>The new Elektra figure, which is numbered 86 of 96, is described thusly:

"The first thing that sets the Unique Elektra apart from previous versions is her point cost. At 160 points, she's much more powerful than before. This Elektra represents Elektra: Assassin. She carries Super Senses and Perplex across her entire dial, and has five clicks of Blades/Claws/Fangs, as well as Stealth and Mind Control. Two attacks, each with a 6" range, aren't too bad, either. She's a great offensive unit that's hard to target or pin down, and she can pull unexpected tricks like Mind Control. To best use her, keep her in hindering terrain and get into close combat, using Perplex to either weaken opponents or boost her own abilities (damage is a good bet). Save her stranger powers for the right circumstances."

The Marvel HeroClix: Xplosion expansion is due for release in March. Pre-order it online now from X-World Comics and help support X-Fan! (http://x-worldcomics.com/yourvirtualstore/shopexd.asp?id=3348)

:excited: Yeah! If I get this one I'll have all the major Avengers With the exception of Hank Pymm. (Including Vision) Coolest sculpt ever. It almost sounds like he's got better powers than Thor. I know this is an X-men set, but this is my most anticipated click yet. :)

Shouldn't the golden Avenger have been in the beginning?

Oooooh...*drooling sounds*... I am indeed a true X-Men fan, and the fact that Warren isn't in this set b/c of Tony...but that's a damn good sculpt, the looks of a solid fig, and a long time coming. And check out the base!!! It's flippin' gold!! Can we say Mandarin, boys and girls?

Nah, you can't have all the big names in the first set.

This Ironman is yet another reason for me to get the x-plosion set.

Has every one seen the two new sneak peeks for valentines day?

WOW. Defiantely a few awesome sounding figures to use in the game. The Unique Elektra, albeit expensive, sounds pretty awesome to use.

Wow, that Elektra sounds great. I'm even more excited about her than I am of IronMan!
