First cab off the rank is everyone's favorite psionic ninja X-Man, Psylocke!
Here's how WizKids describe the figure, which spans numbers #58-60 in the set of 96:
"The Rookie version of Psylocke comes in at an inexpensive 29 points, providing a cheap Enhancement. Her strong defense against ranged attacks lets her support ranged combat units effectively. The Experienced and Veteran versions reflect her later Martial Arts skills and psychic powers in the form of Blades/Claws/Fangs and Incapacitate. Similar to other Blades/Claws/Fangs warriors, Psylocke has a good amount of Stealth to allow her to sneak around. What makes her different, however, is her telepathic Enhancement power. Use her to boost the power of ranged-combat units such as Cyclops or Bullseye, and if someone gets in close, let her go to town in close combat!"
Marvel HeroClix: Xplosion is due for release in March. Pre-order the expansion online now from X-World Comics and save! (http://x-worldcomics.com/yourvirtualstore/shopexd.asp?id=3348)

Has anyone seen the picture called "Scream"? I think they modelled Psylocke after it.

True this isn't one of the best pieces that WizKids has done, but when you're playing with the character you don't really see the face. There are some other clix out there that don't look too good. I've got a Captain America with red eyes. These things are pretty small so let's not be too hard on the makers.

Yes, there are some visual...issues...with this Psylocke preview, but I agree with DCUnited that we shouldn't be too hard on WizKids. Most of the figure's sculpt is respectable; it's really just the face that doesn't work, and the figure they used for this shot could have just been a bad representative of the batch. And that's not even including the fact that any minor flaws of detail were hugely magnified when they enlarged the image before uploading it.
Hopefully the other X-Men in Xplosion will have as good a variety as Betsy...and a better sample pic, too, I'd say.

Haha, literally! She's modeled after the X-Treme version but I think they went too far and used the version of her after she died. It's the "Decomposing Betsy" action figure. A corpse has never been more fun!

I agree with Kostin that you guys should just be happy that they made a Betsy. I'm still waiting to see if some of my favorite characters ever get added into a set.
Anyway, I'm still looking forward to this new set.

I've got to get something off of my chest.
What the!?!
This is really a comment regarding the Clix line in general, not about the grotesque visage of Psylocke. I'm sure the game is fun. I really am. Heck, I've been more than tempted to get a couple of these things in the past. What's consistently turned me away was the utter lack of quality control. Okay, before you start in on me, I DO realize that these quirky/creepy sculpts are part of the appeal ... to some people. It does absolutely nothing for me. I'm certain that I'm not alone in stating this.
Does anybody else feel that this line of products deserves much better? A fair amount of these figures look as if they'd been sculpted in 15 minutes, with Super Sculpy, and by a preteen fanboy. Heck, some of Wizard Magazine's custom sculpts look better. That's not to say that all of the figures are bad, but there's a fair share of sucky ones to go around.
Maybe I'm in the minority, but I'd love to see fewer figures and higher quality. Shocker of shockers, some people actually collect these little things. Imagine, 5 years from now, looking at the Psylocke sculpt and wondering who she's supposed to be or how she was "injured".
Marvel really needs to tighten their grip and the "sculptors" need remember what the words quality control mean. Some of these sculpts just look lazy.
As a professional CG artist and traditional sculptor, I'm offended by what passes for artistic style. Fellas... Ladies.... I've seen style. I've seen art. This aint it.
EDIT>>> For those of you saying, "Well, I'm happy that they at least made a Psylocke figure." .... ... ... ... Are you happy that they made THIS one? From a strictly licensing-based POV, why have a character represented if the execution is going to be so poor. I'd rather see no sculpt than a bad one.

Doesn't look like the sculpt is the "problem" here, but moreso the paint job.

Look again. Even for a stylized version of a human, the proportions are woefully off. Anatomically, that face is so off that it could only belong to "Alice the Goon" from the old Popeye cartoons. :p

I agree, they did a shooty job on this one. They could SO do a better job. I've seen better sculpture's by fanboys that turn in their toys to Wizard magazine. It's just being lazy, and just because it's so small doesn't mean it can't be good. Look at monopoly pieces they have so much detail and look nice. Ah I shouldn't care, I'm not into HeroClix.

Going by this picture alone I would agree but when you click on the link and go to the site and you can click on the buttons and have the figure do a 360. By doing so you get to see how deformed her head is! Looks like someone painted a face on a peanut! And when you look at her back, man oh man, they gave her a crackhead's body! I've seen some figures that look great, some good and some not great but decent, this figure is just plain terrible. Its seems more like they sculptured this figure, it came out bad and they just shrugged their shoulders and moved on to the next figure.

Interesting...when I go to the site and click on the picture it doesn't do the rotating thing...

Underneath the picture there should be fast forward and rewind buttons allowing you to rotate it all the way around.
CmX, if only the fanboys did the sculpts...of course, to make sure the quality lived up to the originals, the fanboys would have to individually sculpt each figure that was produced, meaning that Xplosion would come out around *counts fingers* Armageddon. Also known as Ragnarok and Apocalypse for comic fans. :D

It's the eyes that are the problem. They're just... awful.

Yeah, the eyes really make it bad.
Have they said who else is going to be in the line? The website only lists a few others.

There are constant rumors, of course, but with various sneak peeks that pop up all over the internet, a coherent list does seem to be forming. Aside from the confirmed figures for Storm, Psylocke and Weapon X, at least 4 other X-Men-related characters have been somehow visually confirmed, including some fan favorites. Tonight I'll see about getting together some of those shots for Eric.
