Muties #2 for me please!! The first one was such a great read, and these stand alone more "realistic" stories are such a fresh take on mutants that I just can't wait for #2.

Normally I'd easily vote Exiles...but since #11 will be a self-contained ish, and because X-Treme had a nice cliffhanger this month...XXM gets my vote just this once

So hard to choose over consecutive issues. It's pretty much a toss up between the two Origin issues and the two New Xmen issues. Eh, I might include Xtreme Xmen too. But the other two have storylines that are really getting my mind working. Sheesh, so hard to choose! ;) Ok, I just voted on New Xmen #123. Had to pick one, I guess.

As a huge Wolverine fan, Origin, as always has me pretty psyched. Also, the X-Corps stoyline in Uncanny has a lot of potential, so I'm looking forward to it's continuation. Plus, eXiles and X-treme are the best X-Books out, so I'm always waiting for the next issue.

Origin! Issue 5 more so than 6, because at least then I'll know what happens and will keep me sustained for a month. The wait can only be so long! Ultimate X-Men is always a favourite and a new arc is only making it better. Uncanny X-Men of course. Casey making this X-Corps saga a memorable one. New X-Men: Imperial, I keep waiting for Morrison, Quitely/Sciver and Hi-fi to make a mistake - but I just can't find one, the book is perfect.

A couple of weeks ago this would have been a tougher decision for me. But after seeing all the recent preview stuff for upcoming X-Treme issues, I didn't even think twice about picking X-Treme X-Men #11!

I normally prefer New X-Men way more than Uncanny, but I really can't wait to see what happens to all the people from Generation X. They should not be neglected like they have been so far. Husk is one of my all time favs, so I can't wait to see her in action.

Exiles got my vote for the reason I want to know why there'll be a new team. For obvious reasons I want the current team to stay.
Also can someone explain this to me please:
From Marvel.com's March Comics Onsale
UNCANNY X-MEN #404
THE SCOOP: Who is behind the X-Corps?
THE STORY: The true villain behind the XCorps/ Human Resistance conflict is revealed — but it may be too late for Banshee, or the X-Men, to do anything about it! And as an army of Multiple Men storms Zurich, Chamber (soon to star in his own X-Men Icons series) takes a guided tour through Mastermind's subconscious… where he's forced to confront some not very pleasant truths about himself!
Which Mastermind is it: Jason Wyngarde or his daughter? Jason died of the Legacy Virus several years ago; Iceman was there when he died.

I think they mean his daughter; they just forgot to include the "Lady" part of her name in front--which I think was stupid to begin with, that they couldn't just let her simply take up her father's name of "Mastermind." :sigh:

I'd just like to see ORIGIN wrap-up before the hardcover comes out... wouldn't that be funny if the trade came out before all the individual issues?
I wonder what the hold-up is... this thing is already supposedly in the can so to speak.

Origin #6 for, only to find out HOW the Origin of Wolverine ends. But if it wasn't for this, it would definately be Exiles as it's currently my most favourite X-Men comic at the moment.

Heh, didn't notice this poll that quickly.
Anyways. Normally I'd choose Exiles, though Uncanny and New have me pretty jazzed as well. However, X-Men Unlimited 35 is set to have a story featuring Emma Frost, another staring Jubilee--I'm hoping for an explination regarding her joining of the X-Corps and maybe Skin showing up as well--and a Sunfire tale by Steven Grant.
Steven Grant writing Sunfire appeals to me greatly.

Something that disturbs me about these polls is that X-Treme always wins over the other books. (I agree that it should, it's my favourite ongoing of them all). My point is, if it always wins by a relatively large margin, then why are New and Uncanny sales always higher? Is it the cover price of X-Treme? Is it this way on this site just because Claremont is the only one of the three core X-titles watching? Is there some connection between the writing and art style, and the direction and feel of X-Treme and people who have internet connections, as opposed to those of New and Uncanny with people who don't? So many questions...so few listening and giving a damn... :(

An interesting expirement would to make X-Treme X-Men, New X-Men, and Uncanny X-Men the only choices, to see if the other titles are taking the New and Uncanny votes.

P'raps--but it doesn't explain why votes from X-Treme aren't being siphoned by the other titles that're doing it to New and Uncanny. :sigh: Why do I put myself through these restless thoughts?

Am I dreaming again? I hate it when I do that.

I think Xtreme sells less because they ship out less copies. If you ask most retailers, they'd probably say that Xtreme sells out sooner than the other XMen titles. The numbers printed in Wizard and other publications are preorder numbers only. If all things were equal, Xtreme shipping in the same numbers as Uncanny and New and Ultimate, you'd probably see much different sales figures.
Why is this? The only reason I can think of is all the press given to New and Uncanny and none to Xtreme. Look at Wizard for one if you need proof--month after month in the "Picks" column, you'll find New, Ultimate, and Uncanny (sometimes Uncanny doesn't make it), but I've yet to see Xtreme here. And in the top 10 creaters list, I've seen CC there only once since Xtreme started and have never seen Larrocca (a vile sin--he deservest the top spot for so many reasons). What I can't understand is why this is.

Probably because X-Treme's flavor is totally different from any of the other books.
I know there's a lot of fans that only read X-Treme right now, whereas most of the New and Uncanny fans have a bigger range of titles they pick up and are looking forward to.
(BTW, I like all three core books, so there! :D)

Can someone explain to me what the appeal of X-Treme X-Men is, other than the fact that it has an "X" in the title? Honest curiousity, really.
