Colossus wasn't killed by Gambit. This is how things ended for Colossus. He went mad, and started to charge like an out of control locomotive. Iceman got in the way, and Colossus went through him like he was just an ice sculpture. Shadowcat tried to stop him, but he ran right through her as well.

When he realized what he had done, Rogue comes up and hits him as hard as she possibly could. Before Colossus died, he made a plea to his sister Illanya by telling him how sorry he was. Gambit had nothing to do with his death.

Gambit had nothing to do with his death.

X-Men: Omega, page 36, panels 4-5 very clearly dipicts Gambit throwing a charged object into the back of Colossus.

Colossus: "Katya, NO! DON'T LEAVE MEEEE!"

Gambit: "Don' worry hommes. Where she's gone, I make sure...you be right behind her."

Rogue was in an entirely different section of Apocalypse's complex, rescuing her son Charles from Guido, which obviously is what's confused you, since she punches Guido in that scene.

Oh, yeah. That's right. I forgot all about that. I apologize for contradicting you. I should have known better.

It has been a while since I have even seen X Men Omega let alone read it. The next time I get the chance I will borrow it from my brother in law.

It pays to know the facts before you go contradicting those that are compiling them!

Also, isn't he the guy that Kitty walks in on in Excalibur #103 - and isn't the AOA Shadowcat in the background as well - but Peter actually speaks: "we are all dead"

No those were from a different alternate reality from both 616 and the AOA.
