The self-styled Mistress of Magnetism, Magneta has patterned herself after Magneto, even wearing a costume akin to his. She possesses complete control over magnetism which she has used to accumulate enough wealth to equip several secret hideaways.
Magneta accompanied J2 and Wild Thing to Cassidy Keep in Ireland to investigate the rumours that Black Tom Cassidy was still alive, but ran afoul of Enthralla and Sabreclaw during the mission.
Later, Magneta and Wild Thing invited J2 to test out a new applicant for their as-yet-unnamed team, a young mutant girl named Daze.
